PU LLB Exam Pattern 2025: Punjab University will provide the syllabus for the PU LLB exam on its official website - pglaw.puchd.ac.in. The exam pattern will cover aspects like the types and number of questions asked, marking scheme, weightage, sections, and test duration. Candidates seeking admission to the 3-year LLB program need to diligently follow the exam pattern to prepare for the exam.

For instance, as per the official exam pattern, the PU LLB question paper will include multiple-choice questions only. The PU LLB question paper will include a total of 100 multiple-choice questions that the candidate will have to attempt in 90 minutes.

A:

There will be total five sections in the PU LLB 2025 entrance exam - English, Logical Reasoning, General Knowledge, Current Affairs and Legal Aptitude. The Legal Aptitude includes topics like Indian Constitution, Indian polity, Law of contracts, Law of torts, Criminal Law, CrPc, Penal Code, International laws of major multilateral bodies like UN, WTO etc. The Current affairs section includes topics like: Current events of national and international importance with special focus on legal aspects, New appointments, achievements, Sports, awards and honours etc. General knowledge section includes topics from History, Environment, Polity, General Science etc. of up to class - 12th level. The English section includes topics from English,  Grammar vocabulary,  Antonyms-Synonyms, Idioms and phrases,  Sentence correction,  Fill in the blanks,  Parajumbles, Reasoning,  Puzzle,  Sets,  Number-series,  Logical patterns,  Blood relations,  Critical resoning,  Directions and Series.

Q:   Is there negative marking in PU LLB 2025 exam?

A:

Yes, there will be a negative marking in PU LLB 2025 Entrance Exam. For every correct answer, +1 marks will be awarded. For each incorrect answer, -0.25 marks will be deducted. Candidates must try to attempt only those questions for which they are 100% sure to avoid loosing marks.

Q:   What is the selection process for LL.B. and minimum marks required in PU LLB Entrance Exam?

A:

The Selection Process is done through both Merit and Entrance Examination basis. The minimum 50% marks is required in PU UGLAW Entrance examination to get admission here. The exam is taken for 100 questions which taken in 2 hours and total of 400 marks. Must mention their language choice in the OMR sheet. Since every wrong answer carries a negative marking of -0.25. Merit is calculated taking 50% of the class +2 percentage including weightages and 50% of the UGLAW Entrance test marks.  You can, in private colleges you can get admission very easily. The Fee for PGLAW Entrance Test is 2100/- rupees and  1050/- rupees for SC/ST/PwD.
