The students, faculty, staff and everyone is good and sociable and friendly.

Faculty: The faculty members are good; this is my first year, and I quite like the faculty there. Some faculty are strict, and some are funny. Faculty members are very approachable, as they said if you have any problem related to ragging or studies, you can talk to them. I think everything is good among teachers and students. There are exams held in the name of mid 1, mid 2, and ending sem.

Overall, it is a great university to pursue an MA in geography in India.

Faculty: I think our professors are very knowledgeable and helpful. A few have earned their PhDs overseas. In the classroom, renowned instructors like Subrata Mondal, Sharat Chandra Misra, and Amar Kumar Chatterjee contribute their knowledge and experience. To get us ready for the industry, the program is relevant and useful. Our tests, which are fair and easy to handle, are conducted every two semesters.
