Rai University Ahmedabad only offers two specilisations under BTech course, i.e., Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology. The BTech specialisations offers core topics such as Full stack Development, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Quality Assurance, etc. For RU BTech admission to the Bech course candidates must secure a valid score in the last qualifying exam. Further, Rai University also accepts JEE Main score for final selection to the BTech programme.

Rai University’s BTech course is the among the popular course in the University. Admission to BTech programme in completely based on the merit list and scores of national & state entrance exams (JEE Main, GUJCET). The merit list is prepared from the valid  eligibilty criteria i.e. 12 years of school education from recognised Board with Minimum 45% in PCM. After the merit list is out, a personal interview round is conducted followed by submission of course fee to finalize the seat in the University.

Rai University offers more than 55+ courses in UG, PG, Diploma and PhD. It offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses across engineering, technology, management and journalism, mass communication departments, law, agriculture, science, etc. Diploma courses are available in Engineering. Also Rai University offers Doctoral programme in various areas like, Commerce, Mnagement, Psychology, etc. 

Rai University is a private university established by Gujarat State Legislature under Gujarat Act No. 12 of 2012. The overall cost of BBA course ranges from INR 2.1 Lacs to INR 4 Lacs which candidates are required to pay during the final stage of admission procedure. As for students who are unable to finance their studies are opt to apply for the  scholarship scheme offered by the University and the Governmnet as well. In Rai University there is a hostel in it. In college hostel, they provide personal washroom. The rooms in the hostel are 4 seater, 3 seater, 2 seater and 1 seater with different prices. They also have air conditioned rooms. The AC rooms are more costlier than normal room. In hostel mess, there are 3 meal and in evening you can have tea in mess. The mess food is quite okay. If you don't like the food of mess you can order tiffin from out side. There are more many PGS near by Rai University but they all are in nearby village, in Saroda and Dholka and many more villages. They all are more than 2 to 3 km away from university. There are some hotels for food and also tiffin service, but the hotel takes delivery charge. The tiffin service does free delivery.
