My experience in Gujarat's Prestigious College, VGEC.
Placements: There are almost 50 students placed in each batch. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA, the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. And the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Top companies are Wipro, TCS, and Microsoft. Top roles offered in my course are Software Engineer, Backend Developer, Frontend Developer, Full Stack Developer, etc.
Infrastructure: There are many labs in our department and also in other departments. Classrooms are huge, with a capacity of almost 200 students at a time. There is also a mess facility in our hostel, offering very good food. Medical facilities are also available in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is excellent. They can teach in multiple languages and solve the doubts of every student. Course curriculum is relevant, making students industry-ready. Mid-semester exams are quite difficult, but the end-semester exams are easier in comparison. Also, there is a 100% pass percentage.

Decent infrastructure, but faculty members are really helpful in our future careers.
Placements: In software-related branches, 100 percent of students are placed within the company. The highest package is approximately 25 LPA, the average package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is approximately 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies include TCS, Argusoft, and Tatva Soft. All students received internships in high-level companies like IBM and Tatva Soft. The top roles offered by companies are as developers.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, and many more facilities are available in our college. The facilities in our hostel are very good. The quality and quantity of food in our mess and canteen are also good. Medical facilities are available both around the college and on campus. The infrastructure for games and sports is provided by our college.
Faculty: Yes, the teaching quality by the faculty members is very good, and it has a significant impact on our future careers. The exam level is average, and 95% of students pass these exams. Overall, the support from faculty members is with you, so you can build your career easily.

Good placements in 2024 and really good hostel.
Placements: The placements from our Vishwakarma College are around 52% successfully placed in companies such as IBM, Union, IFB, Panasonics and Capgemini for campus placement. The highest package offered by those companies is 17 LPA and the lowest package offered is 5 LPA. No internships are offered by the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for our course is designed in such a way that it relates to all new technologies, such as AI, ML and more. Wi-Fi and labs have the latest equipment. The quality of the facilities in our hostel provides food in various dishes in the mess and canteen. Sports are conducted.
Faculty: The teachers are more helpful in academics and semester exams; our teachers are well qualified with IIT and NIT, with Ph.D.s and Masters and knowledgeable in subjects. The course is relevant, so they are prepared to solve industry problems. Semester exams are very difficult.

Better placement from our college.
Placements: Last year, our college achieved around 90% placements from our computer branch. The average package, I guess, is around 5 to 6 LPA. The highest package in our branch has been 20 LPA over the past 3-4 years. TCS and Argusoft were the top companies that visited our college for placements last year.
Infrastructure: First of all, our college used to be IIT Gandhinagar a couple of years ago, which is why the infrastructure is very good, according to me. They provide Wi-Fi for students and projectors in rooms for better learning. The library management is also nice. It is open 5 days a week for 24 hours.
Faculty: From my 2 years of experience in this college, the teachers are well-qualified and teach very nicely. They are friendly and approachable. Most of the topics they teach are relevant to our professional life in any company.

Nice college with good nature.
Placements: Around 54% of students were placed in my course. The highest salary offered was 5 lacs per annum, and the lowest package is 1.2 lacs per annum, with an average package of 3 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies like IBM, Infosys, TCS, and Microsoft, along with more companies, have campus selection. Top roles are Assistant Engineer, Lead Manager, and more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at VSIC is the best in providing all basic facilities like the Sports Club and has a large playground. They also mainly focus on training for Campus Selection. They give internships. The library has bundles of books for all branches and research papers. The hostel is good with all facilities like mess food, medical facilities, and more.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful in academics, and they also support and encourage us in sports. They give more knowledge in all fields like how to solve a problem with less time. They teach in an effective way so that all students can understand easily. The semester exams are hard to pass, but we have a 67% passing rate.

As you have completed your diploma in CSE, so you will get admission in second year directly through lateral entry. To get admission, you need to appear for the lateral entry entrance exam.
