Q:   What is the eligibility criteria for the B.Tech at RTU?

A:

So, when it comes to your educational qualifications, completing your 12th grade is a must. You know, that stage where you finish up high school. In your 12th grade, you gotta have Physics and Mathematics in your curriculum, no escaping those! Along with those, you'llneed to pick one more subject among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Computer Science. Its likes a trio dance and with subjects! Now, about the mark's, they do matter.

The minimum score you qouta aim for in your trio subjects, typically hovers around 45% if you're in the General category. But if you fall under reserved categories like SC-ST-OBC-SBC, it's a bit more relaxed, around (40%). So its like setting your bar for success. And then there's the big one  the entrance exam, the JEE Main. This is like the golden ticket for admission's to B.Tech programs at RTU (Rajasthan Technical University). Your score here is crucial. The higher percentile you notch up in JEE Main, the better your chances are of landing a seat in those coveted programs. It's like the key to unlocking your dream program at RTU!

Good college with good placements for CS/IT but other branches are average.
Placements: About 40% of students were placed in our branch and some people are not interested in private jobs. The highest salary package offered is 8.5 LPA from Jindal Steels (JSW). The lowest salary package is offered by a fertilizer company of 3 LPA. In this session, the internship percentage is decreased to 30-40% due to COVID-19. Production engineer and consultant are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of RTU is good and developing. The classrooms are huge and Wi-Fi is available 24 hours on campus. The library system is fully organised. The hostels are cleaned and maintained but are not safe for forest animals like panther bears, snakes, etc. Guards are available but not recommendable. The mess food is sometimes good and sometimes very bad. A canteen and medical facilities are available from 10 am to 5 pm and that was good.
Faculty: All professors at RTU are well educated, more qualified, helpful, and well knowledgeable. But some faculty members are very excellent and some are not bad. So they balance each other. Several colleges are affiliated with RTU and all are the best. About 70-80% is the passing percentage at RTU.
Other: A detailed description of production, practices, and industrial technics is provided at RTU. There is an extension in the branch. Events and fests are regularly organised, (2020 The Thar-2020 was organised and Anukriti) but due to COVID-19 we stopped, but the Thar and Anukriti were reorganised.

The college doesn't provide good education nor does it have good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in our college are good. Many students got placed but not in their field of study. Mechanical students were placed in Infosys, not in core companies like Tata Steel, Mahindra or Ashok Leyland. Civil students have also been placed in Infosys. Some of the CSE students got placed in Infosys. You can't get core placements from college.
Infrastructure: This college is not good for engineering because its infrastructure is very poor, and the campus environment is not friendly for education. There are a lot of politics, corruption, casteism and also biased with religions. Students should do whatever the teachers ask them to do. Otherwise, one will get debarred or have backlogs.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members are good and supportive, but maximum faculty members are not helpful nor knowledgeable. They don't know how to educate students. They teach you only to read books. They don't help the students with improving their communication skills.
Other: Events like Uttarardh, ATVC and Anukriti are conducted on the campus. Some of the groups present in the college are for robotics, dancing group, singers group and more others.

A college with great faculty members, fests, and facilities. The golden life at RTU.
Placements: There are ample placement opportunities for PIE branch. Many of our seniors have been placed. In the previous year, a senior from the same branch got placed with a package of around 12 LPA. The crowd is very much talented, and every student is well-qualified. The crowd in the PIE department is amazing, and they have good skills in mechanics. Most of the companies have visited our university in previous years.
Infrastructure: The campus is lush green, and labs are well-maintained. The classrooms are well-settled, and all the departments are enriched with all the facilities. The infrastructure is enriched with all the technical appliances, and there are digital classes available. Projectors are also used for teaching.
Faculty: Faculty members are amazing. They not only help in academics but also help in various extracurricular activities. They set the benchmark for every student. Faculty members also guide us regarding different types of projects which give an opportunity for the students to attend other colleges.
