If you just want a degree, you can join, but if you expect more, go to another college.

Placements: College placement is highly selective, and students who are placed have low annual salaries ranging from INR 2-5 lacs. The highest package is INR 17 lacs. 10 to 30 percent of students get internships. There is no top recruiting company over all placements, which is very bad.

Fake placements Not to prefer.

Placements: In the College placements page, Most of the data is fake and never preferable, it never shows true placement records, only 2 mechanical students were got placement out of 200 very bad. I will never prefer this to anyone, and I will suggest all those who like to join this college, not to join this college.

Rayat Bahra University, Kharar- Just don't come here.

Placements: The placements in the college are fake. Rayat Bahra University only claims that they place their students, but in the case of the mechanical engineering, the scene is truly different. If you get the placement on your own, still it will be shown as if you have got placed on the campus. They always try to make fool of you.

Loot of students money in form of security deposit.

Placements: The college management always makes false promises of offering a good placement season every year, but in the end, all things were not good. The students were finally cheated. They invite around 10 MNC companies, but which is less as they are going for the group placement drive which compromises of 4-5 campus college. The college is always advertising it's placement wrongly. Don't go with the same.

I was absolutely dissatisfied with everything and the course was not worth the money.

Placements: The placements were very poor for my and the seniors' batch. Only 10% of the students were placed. The highest package was Rs. 2.4 lacs pa. Only 3-4 local companies visited the campus. The roles offered to the students were technicians, salesmen and in BPOs. No internships were offered, no stipend was given.

This is a worthless college. You will never get placed and no good teachers also a little campus where you can't explore. The fee is high and formalities are enough, which is meaningless. No labs where u can practically do the things and no placement at all. The only one thing that they know is how to draw money from the students. You cannot get good teaching staff there as the teachers they have are dumb to the fact that how could they hire them to teach engineering. No extracurricular activiti...

The college is missing in every aspect, the management is only spending money on opening more colleges and expanding, which means there prime concentration is quantity nor quality, lectures are not interactive as the teachers change every month, labs are not properly equipped nor the lab trainers are properly skilled. The college charges extra fees more than as prescribed by PTU (university to which the college is affiliated), example: The college charges Rs 3500 from every student on the name o...

Overall experience at Rayat and Bahra was not a very pleasant one. Firstly, its location is not very reachable. It lies on the outskirts of Chandigarh, far away from the main City. The Faculty Members are not good, and are not much well qualified and experienced too. Thus, there is not much learning experience. Even the crowd and the campus is not up to the mark and I will not suggest this college to any of my friends. There is hardly any placement opportunity for the students.

Guys, do anything but don’t join PTU for B.tech or you will regret this decision your whole life. It’s my personal experience of PTU and I don’t want anyone to go through the same, so that’s why I am telling you guys all this. You can prepare for another year, for IIT JEE and if still the results are not good, then please change your course i.e. go for BSc.

My college is just not like other colleges, it is worse than all other colleges. This is a very bad college. Please don’t ever think to join this college. It will destroy your personal as well as career life. In terms of meeting new people, it’s easier in college than, say, after switching to a new school in eighth grade.

Good course, special education.

Placements: There are no proper placements in this college. Rules and regulations of the college should be strict so that the students come to college regularly. I got a government job after clearing TET. The college provides free education for the general category of people. Ther should be an improvement in placements.
