Admission to BTech at RGPV is completely entrance-based. Direct admission is not possible for BTech course at the university. Candidates seeking for admission to this course must pass Class 12 to appy for the course. Aspirants must qualify for JEE Main entrance exam in order to get admission. The JEE Main qualifiers are required to apply for DTE MP counselling, where the seats will be allotted to the selected candidates. 

It is possible to get admission to BArch programme at 70 rank, among the General Home State category candidates. The last-round closing rank for BArch at RGPV was 77 for RGPV - Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya. For admission to its affiliated college, Madhav Institute of Technology and Science, the last-round closing rank was 84.

Admission to the BSc course at RGPV is open to those candidates who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam. There are four specialisations offered under this programme. RGPV admissions are done on entrance-basis.
