Review of Madhav Institute of Technology and Science.
Placements: Around 40 students get placed per batch. Cognizant and Accenture are the mass recruiting companies that came this year. Students who have good academic records in the college and perform well in the subject of the university exam get placed. Students who did well in coding get placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, which provides a good vibe. It has a very old building and some new buildings, especially for branches belonging to artificial intelligence. The ground of the college is good and well-maintained.
Faculty: Faculty members in each department are average as we listen from other colleges. If students have potential and want to attend all classes, there will not be a single problem that they face in college. They are supportive if we behave like a student.
Other: The environment is not like before. It has changed now.

Our college has good teachers.
Placements: Around 50% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is around 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.50 LPA. Around 70-80% of students got internships in TCS. Top roles offered in our course are junior engineer and site engineer. Placements are decent in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college provides all facilities like labs with all instruments, a library, a hostel, a canteen, Wi-Fi, etc. The infrastructure of our college is good. Our canteen offers decent food. Sports and games are not available in the hostel. The library does not have many books. The infrastructure of our college is very good.
Faculty: All teachers are knowledgeable and good. The teaching quality is very good. The course is well-designed. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are difficult. The pass criteria are 5 CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about our course is that we can learn many civil engineering structures.

Placement is absolute Disaster but the facilities and Campus life is Good.
Placements: Currently, the placement scenario at MITS Gwalior is not very good. In the CS, IT, and ECE departments, the placement record is decent, but in core branches like Civil and Mechanical, the placement is very poor. In 2024, very few students got placed in the core branches. Approximately 50 companies, such as Accenture, Jamna Auto, Tejas Network, and Volvo Eicher, visited the campus, and the average package is somewhere around 4 to 5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and laboratories for UG courses are pretty good and equipped with the latest instruments. The library of MITS Gwalior is also very good and large, having more than 30,000 books and documentaries. It is also equipped with computer systems, ACs, and high-speed Wi-Fi service. The sports facilities at MITS Gwalior are very good, with a cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, and volleyball court. However, hostel facilities are not very good, with three girls' hostels and only one boys' hostel, which is not sufficient and creates accommodation problems for boys. The quality of mess food is decent but not very tasty, although the menu is diverse, including both North and South Indian foods.
Faculty: The faculty members of MITS Gwalior are very good and well-qualified; everyone has completed their postgraduate Ph.D. from NITs and IITs across India. They are very supportive and helpful to the students; you can reach them anytime during working hours. However, some professors, especially in the Civil Engineering Department, are also very arrogant. The curriculum is very good, making its students industry-ready. According to the curriculum, there are two mid-semester exams, one end-semester exam, and a viva conducted per semester, with a passing CGPA of 4.0. The difficulty level of the exams ranges from moderate to high.
Other: The college should improve its placement record and work on its T&P cell. Apart from that, the campus is decent and spread over 52 acres, with beauty and greenery everywhere. The campus hosts some annual fests, such as Youth Fest, Sports Day, Ethnic Day, etc. There are 62 social clubs and groups, including TEDx, Dance & Music Club, GDSC, Querencia, NSS/NCC, Photography Club, etc., which organize events on a regular basis for the students. The connectivity of the campus is also very good, as it is situated in the urban area and is only 4 km from the Gwalior Railway Junction.

Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 1 CPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Tata, etc. Almost all students got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. Classrooms are clean and well-maintained. The library contains books related to all subjects. Labs have all the necessary machines for practical experiments. The food served in the hostel is good.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified. They have been educated at prestigious like IITs and NITs. They have excellent knowledge. They explain the course material very well. The curriculum is well-designed and relevant to students. Semester exams are quite challenging compared to other colleges. The pass percentage is 60%.

College and faculty are good but fees are higher than other colleges.
Placements: The college has good placements. It is ranked A+ in the NRF rankings. Last year, the highest package offered was 1 crore, the minimum package was 3 LPA, and the average package was 6 LPA. Many top companies visit this college, including TCS, Amazon, Microsoft, and Flipkart.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at this college is better than at other colleges. The labs are in very good condition, with all machines and equipment available. The library has a wide selection of curriculum books.
Faculty: The faculty are good in their behavior, and the exams are based on an autonomous pattern. The teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced, and the semester exams are not difficult for students. The passing criteria is at least 5 CGPA for the entire year. If a student does not pass with a CGPA of at least 5, they will not be permitted to continue to the next year or pursue higher education.
Other: Scholarship facilities are available in this college.

Dear, it may be difficult to get admission there but don't wait. It's my advice to you to take admission wherever you are getting the seats. Just apply for it. You can also wait for some time to check the cutoff list. All the best.

Yes, you can get seats easily through Home - state quota, but through other state, you should go for management quota or any such alternate option available.
