RV University from the POV of a Student of RVU.
Placements: Since the first batch hasn't been out yet, I'm not really sure about placements. But it's gonna happen alongside RVCE students, which is really great because most companies which come to RVCE are heavily reputed and also the packages they offer are usually high.
Infrastructure: Well, some buildings for RVU are still under construction, but the ones that are done are extremely modern and cool. I'm not a part of the hostel, but I've heard from my friends who are that the rooms are really great, but the food quality is kind of okay-ish.
Faculty: Teachers are excellent; they are extra well-qualified from top universities and are really easy to approach. Course content, unlike regular engineering colleges, here there's more of a real-world application-based approach which allows you to think innovatively.

Review of the RV University.
Placements: Hopefully, the best companies will offer placements. Since I am a fresher, I have not reached out for internships yet, but they do inform us if there are any internships or skill development programs online.
Infrastructure: Half of the building is under construction, but classrooms are not bad, and they will be renovated later. There is Wi-Fi everywhere in the building. There was no vacancy in the hostel (150+ girls on the waiting list), so I had to look for PG accommodation. Canteen is a bit far from our course building, but the food is good. They have a health center on campus. The college has a ground, and they conduct sports day and encourage us to participate in student club activities as well.
Faculty: Faculty memebrs are friendly and approachable. They helped late joiners a lot and are good at their job. They even took extra classes to complete topics that we had already covered. But, it does feel a bit hectic as mid-term exams (internals) are already in just one month of joining the college. Course curriculum does make students industry-ready, as far as I think.

The college is great but needs improvement in consistency.
Placements: Since the college is new, the starting packages received through placements isn't a lot, but due to placements taking place side by side with RVCE, we are able to get placements in well-established companies. It is expected that as time progresses, the placements will get better and better.
Infrastructure: The course is very flexible, wherein students are introduced to a lot of necessary topics and areas of computer science that are required. The hostel is very good as well, with great food and decent rooms and other facilities that are required are readily available as well.
Faculty: The faculty is not very great due to constant changes in faculty, which does cause issues once in a while. The exam structure is basic and the same as other colleges. The curriculum is the best part of the course and it introduces you to all the necessary requirements, which you can build upon.
Other: The campus is great and vast, with a diverse group of people and regular events keeping it fresh and relaxing.

The infrastructure and faculty are good, and students have to catch up on things along with it.
Placements: We are the first batch. Companies are coming now. They said placements are aligned with the RVCE. We have to see what will happen with our batch. Currently, I am in the 5th semester, we have to see when we enter the 6th semester and get full-time placements.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and everything are good. The library is small. The new building for the library will be soon available. There are 2-3 hostels. Some hostels' maintenance is good. The food is average. Some hostels' food is good. The maintenance is average. One hostel is good, but it is outside of the campus.
Faculty: The course is helpful. If students are dedicated to learning, the course is very good. Exams are average. The passing percentage is 95%. Only attendance shortage students may fail exams. Subjects are like they explore we to most of the valuable courses. we have to choose which like and want to work with in the future.
Other: I want to go into the tech field, so I chose this course. We need some more time to practice. Events are good. I am not involved in events much.

The best place if you want to go to a college with a lot of facilities.
Placements: Many people were placed in the placements. In my course, we have up to 120 students. A lot of us were offered internship opportunities. I'm not sure about top recruiting companies, but I'm sure there are plenty of them. I am not sure about the highest or lowest packages offered either.
Infrastructure: We have a top-class library, so accommodating and comfortable. The facilities are a 4/5 since there's more construction happening. The hostel medical facilities are great, and so is sports; we have one event happen every year. Most of the events are hosted by the clubs. It's very enjoyable and fun.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are well qualified and professional. The teaching quality is 4/5. Yes, the course curriculum is absolutely relevant and informative. Semester is pretty hard. We have a 70/30 variant where 70 is CIE and 30 is final exams. It does get slightly stressful sometimes but is pretty manageable.
Other: This course was chosen by me because I want to pursue an MBA and become an HR manager. I want to improvise the part where there is more practical work than theoretical skills. Events and fests happen every month or two. They have amazing opportunities and offer art electives too.

Yet to be satisfied with the greenery on campus.
Placements: Actually, still, no one has been placed anywhere as it is a new university, and the thing is, our university was established in 2019, so we are the fourth batch. The students who are in the fourth year are yet to be placed, so there is nothing to say about the placements of our college.
Infrastructure: If we come to the infrastructure of the college, it is an under-construction building as it is new. The management is now planning to build a variety of buildings for different courses separately, and there are Wi-Fi facilities, labs, and a beautiful library for us to read.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are knowledgeable, and they have so much experience in the teaching field. The thing is, our RV university is autonomous, where our faculty members themselves form the question papers, and the exams are very tough compared to the VTU exams. We have three internals and one final semester exam, where the internals' sum is 70 and the final semester exam is for 30 marks.
Other: As I was not much interested in any other courses, I chose it. The best thing is that we will have sketching of 3D and 2D objects. Since I am good at drawing, I like it. The one thing which should be improved is that they should teach us more practically, and they conduct some tests after the completion of semester exams.
