Dissatisfied because of coaching, placements, and there is no values and humanity in the education.

Placements: There were not many placements than the previous year. It is worthless, especially for bioengineering. Politics played a role in placements also. It is a complete waste of money and time. There is no proper coaching of aptitude for the students who attended for placements.

SASTRA College Life - An amazing experience.

Placements: The placements were really good. 97% percent was the placement success rate of our college last year both including core companies and IT companies. PayPal offered 24-27 Lacs pa and also Microsoft offered around 25L. L&T, Brakes India, TVS Motors, Bosch, Cypress semiconductors were some of the companies which visited.

I am satisfied with the staff. Placements are very good from last 5 years.

Placements: The placements are very good for our super senior batch. Around 97% of the students got placed from our college. The companies like Money Pal, Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, and CTS etc., visited the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered was 21 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 4-5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Around 2%-3% of the students were offered internships from the college.

Our college is not better than NITs and IITs.

Placements: Placements in our college are satisfactory. TCS is the main recruiter of SASTRA. The college invites product-based and product-based companies with good packages. In 2015, SASTRA created a record by placing 1500 students in TCS compared to other universities.

It is a place where you can explore yourself.

Placements: Placements in college were really good. There were lots of opportunities. Companies like PayPal, Cisco, Microsoft, etc., visited our college and recruited students. If you don't have any active backlogs, then you will walk out with a job in your hand for sure. The highest salary package offered was 22 LPA by PayPal and the lowest was around 3.40 LPA by TCS.

Absolutely dissatisfied with management. However, placements and infrastructure are good here.

Placements: Our college provides a lot of placement opportunities for departments like CSE, electrical, IT, and ICT, but the placements for the mechanical department are not that good. The placement opportunities provided for the civil department are even lesser than the placements for the mechanical department. However, IT companies visit the campus to hire a large number of students from all the other branches. The highest salary package offered was 24 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.12 LPA. ...

SASTRA is a deemed-to-be university.

Placements: Placements in the college are conducted in a very great manner. The highest salary package offered is nearly 12 LPA. The minimum salary package offered is 3 LPA. Companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys, and some core companies like Jogo, Mu Sigma, Google visit SASTRA and hire students.

The college has good placements and better faculty.

Placements: Almost all the students from School of Computing are placed in various companies, mostly in TCS. If you have good programming and technical skills, you can get placed in Zoho, Paypal, etc. One of my seniors got placed with a package of 20 LPA. So, we have to concentrate on any of the programming languages more to get the right placement offer.

Placements: Almost all the students are recruited by TCS. The highest salary package may be offered on the main campus. Students from both the campuses get placed. The average salary package offered may be around 3.50 lacs per annum. Almost all big companies like Amazon, Google, Microsoft, TCS, and Wipro visit the campus. Internships are offered by Microsoft.

Better education and placements at a low fee structure.

Placements: The placement rate of Sastra SRC (Srinivasa Ramanujan Centre) is varying every year, and it depends on the academic performance of students and the availability of jobs in that particular year. As far as I know, you will surely get placed in any service based company like TCS, Wipro, or CTS if you have a minimum CGPA of 7.5 without any standing arrears. In 2017, around 80% of the students got placed. In 2018, around 97% of the students got placed, and the rate varies every year. The highest sala...

Placements: The college provides great placements. You get to see a lot of companies on the campus. Most of the students get placed, and everyone will have at least one job offer in their hand. We have a good training and placement department in the college. They help you sort out all your queries at any time.

SASTRA is worth the money you pay.

Placements: The placements are pretty good. But, as in the whole country and all institutions, placements are mostly offered for IT, CSE and ICT departments, and not much for other core branches. Placements provided might be few, but they are guaranteed. Definitely, 75% of the placements are done by TCS and a few other mass recruiters.

Placements: For my seniors out of 30, 12 students were placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 35,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per month. Not all companies visit our campus. The roles offered were Product Execute, Analyzer, Marketing. Students who got placed in companies are leading their careers beautifully and happily, and also enjoying their workplace.

Placements: The placement cell of our college is good, but many companies are expected to visit our campus in the 4th semester. Good opportunities are provided for marketing professionals and also for the students whose major subject is finance. Our senior batch did not achieve good placement percentage. But, opportunities are comparatively more in this year. Proper training is provided for students by the placement cell.
