Absolutely good compared to other colleges because of the feel and also good placements.

Faculty: Some of the teachers are highly experienced in Sastra, and some are not up to the mark. For IT students, the subjects are good, but the faculty is not good. They will explain the PPT slides and what is there in them. Semester exams are not that difficult as we are taught, and the passing marks are 50 in the subject we need to score. The curriculum makes the students industry-ready, and they can sit for placements.

Think Merit, Think SASTRA.

Faculty: Faculty in the college are well-trained and have good experience in teaching. If we have any doubts, they will definitely help us at any time. Coming to the semester exams and internal exams, they have a good combination of questions that improve our thinking. Marks allotment is straightforward. Pass percentage is 80%.

Dissatisfied about placements after corona.

Faculty: All the teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching was understandable, and all the teachers completed the syllabus on time, well before the upcoming exams. The semester exams were above average in difficulty, which helped us understand the questions and execute them.

Good infrastructure for research and cheaper.

Faculty: Most faculty members are good, except a few. They are helpful and do not show discrimination. Some faculty members are overly dependent on PowerPoint presentations. There are three internal exams (CIA), out of which the best 2 marks are selected. Semester exams are easier than CIA exams. You have to try to score well in the first two CIAs, as the 3rd CIA is for the full portion.

Review of Srinivasa Ramanujan Center, SASTRA.

Faculty: The teachers are not highly qualified. But some of them are good. And knowledgeable. The teaching quality is okay. The semester and mid examinations were very difficult; they don't even give good marks. The faculty are very strict. The pass marks are 50 out of 100. Three will be 50-50 marks for CIAs.

Here is my review- outstanding placement and infrastructure and faculty also good.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very humble and polite. The teachers are highly educated and have many years of teaching experience. They interact with the students like friends, and provide proper education with care. They explain all the concepts to the students through practical examples. Besides studies, they help students in various fields. And prepare students especially for interviews. Mock tests are arranged for almost all students. Also looks at communication skills, public speaking skills, and...

College life at Sastra 2024.

Faculty: Sastra has three CIA exams, which are like internal tests. The best of the two highest scores is considered. Lab exams are based on the course and are worth 50 marks. The final semester exam is worth 50 marks. In the second year and beyond, students also have separate lab courses.
