It provided good placements for 2020 batch. The beautiful campus is the highlight of the university.

Placements: About 70% of the students from our course got placed, and few students opt for higher studies. Students do the summer internship on their own according to their interests. For the final semester, there is a choice between the final project or an internship in the specialisation. Some top recruiting companies like TCS, Wipro, TechAspect, etc., visit our college for placements.

It has a good infrastructure but lacks to offer opportunities to get placed in some good companies.

Placements: Only one placement was conducted in the year 2019 for M.Tech in the mechanical course, and it was conducted by Cummins India Pvt Limited. Placements for business school are quite good as compared to the technical course. Companies like HDFC, ICICI, etc., visit here to recruit MBA students.

It is a great place for studying.

Placements: The only companies that visited for hiring engineering graduates were from the IT sector. TCS is one of the main recruiters here. If someone does want and has above average communication skills, would get easily placed in one of the campus drives. The training and placement officer is having limited contacts with corporate people which can be seen when the campus drive starts. However, since it's one of the biggest universities in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, most of the companies visiting won'...

Placements: There are no placements for the architecture branch. You have to make your architectural design portfolio and then apply in various firms of your own choice. Most of the times, if the jurors get impressed with your portfolios, they will you as interns. Well-reputed people in the architecture sector of India are called for design juries. Good infrastructure, contented placements but not satisfied with the faculty.

Placements: Placements in the college were satisfactory but could be improved. The highest salary package offered was about 12 lacs per annum, and the lowest was 3 lacs per annum. TCS, Wipro, Orange, Tech Aspects, Samsung and some marketing companies visited the campus for placements. The internship programme can also be improved, and the placement cell played a vital and significant role in placements.

Review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University.

Placements: Placements are quite good if you are a student of computer science department. The annual package offered is about 4 to 5 LPA. From my senior batch, around 80% of the student got selected with that package. Some seniors are very good and qualified for GSOC. Now, they are earning a handsome salary. Mostly, the companies like TCS and Wipro visit the campus to offer placements.

Placements: The university provides a lot of facilities for the students to study. If you properly use those facilities and work hard, you can crack any exam. The university pays for your exams like UGC NET and CSIR NET, and you can get a contractual job as a teacher after your M.Sc.

It is the best college one can join, in Jammu.

Placements: The placements provided in our college are probably the best in Jammu. We can't compare it with other colleges, but our college is ranked 94 by MHRD, which definitely affects the placements of upcoming batches. One of the companies which usually visit the college is TCS, but you should prefer off-campus placements as well.

Our college is a beautiful and wonderful place to study and spend your college life.

Placements: Placements in our college are good as Tata Consultancy, and other big companies come for placements. Many students got a minimum package of Rs. 30,000 per month while many students have achieved good posts at the starting of their career itself. SMVDU-TBIC allows you to focus on entrepreneurship which inspires students to do creative and innovative works in their field than earning money.

Among 50 students 30 students get placed in different companies, and the rest of students were not interested in doing the job as early or there where other reasons.

Placements: The placements were quite underrated before, but now it is getting better day by day. The last year batch got great placements in HCL, Indian Navy and Tata. Placements: In my college, for architecture branch, there are no placements directly instead students need to apply for any job after when they completed their graduation in B.Arch. In the 7th semester, students are required to make one portfolio having all the relevant work for getting the internship in their favourite firm. Placements: The placements for our batch as well as our senior batch were below average. Almost 50% students of the senior batch and less than 50% of the senior batch were placed. The average package was around 3 Lacs pa. Our college was visited by companies like TCS, LnT Infotech, Orange, etc. There were no internships from college.
