The review of SRMU - Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University.

Placements: Placements totally depend upon your talent and your interests. The college can only invite the best companies, and they are doing their best for the students to get placed. But we have all the responsibility to take care of our careers. More than 110 companies visit the campus for placements. They hire up to 400-500 students from our college. Placements also depend on other curricular activities in which you have participated. Even the event certificates are very important and are very helpful f...

Faculty members are approachable, and placements are not good.

Placements: Well, very few placement drives are conducted in our college. The students of SRMU have to visit other campuses now and then. Last year, HCL and TCS visited the college but hired only 1 to 2 students respectively. Till now, the lowest salary offered was Rs. 8,500 per month. The role offered by Emeis was software trainee. Till now, the highest salary offered was 3.2 LPA, and that too an SRMUs drive, so not many students of the university got hired by the companies. The roles offered to B.Tech stu...

In spite of study, nothing is good in this college. The infrastructure of this college is not good.

Placements: Only two companies have come to our university, and our placement cell is not able to bring any more companies. It's our final 2-3 months left in this university, and no companies are coming. Our seniors that have passed from this university last year told that they were made a fool in the name of placement. They were cheated in the name of placement. The companies came and gave them a job in other cities, but when they reached over there, there was no company by that name. ...

To join or not to join at Sri Ramswaroop Memorial University .

Placements: The companies had visited the campus, and the placements have happened, but not many companies visited. Around 30% of the placements have the highest package of around Rs. 5,00,000 per annum. The lowest was around 1.5 lakhs per annum. The companies like Wipro did visit and was hired the students as a field engineer, consultant, etc. Around 25% of students got internships. It's better than a lot of other private universities operating in Lucknow.

There are a few things that needs to be changed.

Placements: There is placement in our college but I have not yet listened much from the seniors and teachers. Companies like TCS, Tata Motors, and Larsen and Turbo are there as per college’s pamphlets that they had showed us during the time of admission.

Good college with nice faculty members but very strict rules, if u are thinking of having spare time in life you would not get it here. Also quiz and paper giving will become integral part of your life. You cannot wear your desired clothes because there is dress code. No proper outlook and caring for students. They just want you to have good marks rather than focusing on knowledge. They focus on grades and also the placement is poor in the college.

It is a good college, nice teachers and supportive staff. If your goal is only to study, come to SRMU. Proper exposure with industries. No fun activities, recreational trips, and events are held. Only one fest is conducted in college and that too a lousy one. Basic courses are good to go with. Sport facilities are like hell.

My university is a good place which provide with excellent knowledge about the course and also overall development of the student. It works on the skill development program and organised various program to do so. There are various cultural event and various club like photographic club, drama club, etc. to provide extra development of the student.

Our college provides bad facilities and placements

Placements: Our batch consisted of 160 students. Core companies didn't visit our campus to recruit students. Around 40% of students get placements of which many were placed in local companies for which students paid some amount in the form of security.

I?

Placements: Zero students have been placed till now. No package was offered to the students of this course at this university. Students were only required to study and find work outside of the university. There was very bad faculty in this college, and no teacher took responsibility for teaching the students.

I am kind of dissatisfied because of infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Around 25%-30% of the students from our course get placed. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro and Cognizant. Our college does not provide internships, and students have to get them from the external source. We don't have any idea about the roles offered as only a few students got placements.
