Great in 2022 the infrastructure and the placement was very good that time IAS CTC was 11 lakhs.
Placements: The college is very good for the placement. Highest CTC was 11 and the company was Amazon. More than 80% of our batchmates got placement from the college. Bank financial institute, Amazon, Flipkart, Jio, Wipro Infosys are the top recruiting companies. Minimum package was 5 CTC. This is a best college according to me near Allahabad location. Faculty, infrastructure, hostel everything is very good in this college.
Infrastructure: Separate hostel for boys and girls are there. Every hostel has modern plus security, you will be safe in college. All the facilities are there related to students. Rooms are good, separate for in one room two person will share to bed to almirah to study tables.
Faculty: Teacher are well qualified in this college. Their teaching is stylish, so good. They will make you understand easily that can help you to clear interviews in final year and help you to grow in life. Every teacher is well educated of their course. There are assistant professors also.
Other: The reason for joining this college was this is one of the best college near my location. There is a sports ground. All sports, library, hostel canteen everything is available. College also follows discipline.

It is an average college.
Placements: I am currently studying at Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Technology and Sciences, Under the department of commerce, "Joseph School of Business Studies and Commerce", and there is no student placed in our course (Bachelor of Commerce). But in other courses placements are available.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are available for our course are average. Classrooms are vast and have proper ventilation, Wi-Fi is also available on our campus, and its speed is also good. We have a huge computer lab for us, where the computer systems are up to date, and good in condition with internet connection.
Faculty: Faculty members of our course (Bachelor of Commerce) are good. Teachers are helpful, supportive, understanding, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teachings quality and the way of explaining the concept are good. The semester exams are quite hard, and the invigilator in the exam hall is strict for those who cheat.

SHUARTS B.Com faculty and their pros and cons.
Placements: Only a few students get placements in the college. Around 5-10% of B.Tech students get placements. The average salary package offered is around 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj and local companies are Nandi Agro Private Limited, etc. There is no company that recruits B.Com students. Internships are not provided by our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. They have a lush green campus with a hundred trees. It gives you fresh vibes every day. Classrooms are clean. There is a huge central library inside the college. They have a basketball court, a football ground, a badminton court, and a beautiful garden with a fountain. There are 3 messes and 5 restaurants in our college. Medical and sports facilities are provided by our college.
Faculty: Faculty members of commerce are very good. Teachers are highly knowledgeable and experienced. The quality of teaching is very good. The difficult level of exams is normal. The passing percentage for the course is 40% in every subject.
Other: I chose this college because it is very close to my home like 5 minutes walking distance. The best thing about the course is it provides knowledge and makes you industry-ready. Our college conducts many extracurricular activities, sports days, and events. Scholarships are not provided by our college. The campus is not very crowded.

Hostel facility is just amazing in our college.
Placements: Placement was excellent in our college. Mostly students got placed. The highest package was around 4 to 5 Lacs. Average package was around 2 to 3.5 Lacs. The lowest package was 1 to 2 Lacs. Many reputed companies come to our college.
Infrastructure: Hostel facility is just amazing in our college. But the hostel food quality is not good as you all know how the food of hostel is. We have two libraries in our campus. In both the libraries you will find almost every book. Overall infrastructure of our college is excellent.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are very helpful to the students. They have a very good knowledge in their domain. The quality of their teaching is just excellent. They will help you in every possible way. Every teacher in our campus is highly qualified.
Other: College organizes fest and events every year. Campus and crowd is also good.

Our college is good with 100% placements for students.
Placements: About 80% of the students from our course got placed in MNC companies. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Information system, Wipro, Mphasis, Hero, etc., visit our campus for placements. About 85% of the students from our course got an internship across the pan India. Roles like dairy technology, data analyst, etc., are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: The college is spread over 4 acres. Our college provides almost everything like canteen, Wi-Fi, hospital, hostel, etc. Our college can accomodate around 50,000 students. Classrooms are equipped with a projector and air-conditioned facility. The hostel and PG facilities are also available for students.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are knowledgeable. They are PhD holders and doctorates. There are about 700 staff members. Their teaching quality is apt. Teachers teach through projector and PowerPoint presentation. The course curriculum is relevant to get a job in India. Teachers are good.

Literally no placement, faculty with no experience, awesome infrastructure, .
Placements: Getting placement in this college, especially in these types of courses is quite impossible, as college is involved in many scams and frauds, no companies are interested, and if they accidentally come, they won't take you in. Other courses like B.Sc. AG, food tech have quite good placements from 10-12 lakh per anumm.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good, college has a lot of buildings to explore. But basic air-conditioner, water cooler is rare, like very few department offer these, apart from this you get awesome canteen and cafe, Wi-Fi, labs, a hospital, a central Library and a department library are there.
Faculty: I'll go with 3 stars on this B.Com course because it is full with inexperienced teachers and staffs, they give assignments during exams, take tests after exams and give marks as they are writing will to students, some teachers never take classes and some take classes in other teacher's schedule. Exams are easy.
Other: There are very few options, like United, Ecc and Shuats. Shuats will provide you more human interaction and they organize regular fests and athletic meet.

{Source: B.Com students & alumni}

Is BCom at SHUATS worth the investment?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Placement Records: Unfortunately, the placement record for BCom students at SHUATS is quite poor. None of the students in the reviewer's batch got placed in the last few years, and the salaries offered ranged from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month.

Course Curriculum: Reviewers felt that the course curriculum is outdated and lacks practical application. Professors are often unqualified, inexperienced, and don't teach effectively.

Infrastructure and Facilities: Although the college has good infrastructure, including modern classrooms, laboratories, and recreational facilities, the reviewers mentioned that the hostel and dining services need improvement.

Teaching Quality: Feedback from students suggests that the teaching quality is subpar, with instructors often failing to cover the syllabus on time and providing inadequate guidance.

Student Life: On-campus life appears to be decent, with various cultural events and festivals organized throughout the year. However, students have expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of food and accommodation.

Advice: Based on these findings, it seems that investing in the BCom programme at SHUATS may not be the best option, given the limited career prospects and substandard teaching quality. Prospective students should carefully weigh their options before making a decision.

A:

Effectiveness of the Placement Cell for B.Com Courses at SHUATS

Unfortunately, the placement cell for B.Com courses at SHUATS seems ineffective based on the feedback from students and alumni. Here are some key points that summarize the situation:

* No company visits: According to multiple students, no companies visit the campus for placements specifically for B.Com students.
* Poor placement record: Alumni report that the placement ratio for B.Com students is below average, with salaries ranging from INR12,000 to INR20,000 per month.
