It has a good campus life and a well-equipped library.
Placements: Not many students got placed in the last three years. About 30-40% of the total students got placed with an average salary package of 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 6.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Parle, Bveg, Amul, Mother Dairy, etc. About 75% of students in my course got internships in top food companies like Haldirams, Bikano, Britannia, Patanjali Foods, etc. The top roles offered are quality assistant, quality executive, production manager, and production executive.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-equipped with all the amenities. The infrastructure is also good and well-maintained. The department has its own library with journals, books, and research papers. The department has Wi-Fi facilities. There are labs for conducting the practicals, and it has all the required equipment. The university has 7 girls hostels and 5 boys hostels. Every hostel has over more than 50 rooms. The hostel mess provides three meals and evening snacks.
Faculty: Faculty members of the university are helpful and qualified. The teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it covers all the important subjects that we require in the industry. The semester exam's difficulty level ranges from moderate to difficult. The pass percentage is about 33%.

The college is very famous, basically for agriculture, and has been working for the last 130 years.

Infrastructure: The facilities are very good and our infrastructure is from the Britishers' time. They provide us free Wi-Fi in every classroom, department, hostel, and in libraries as well. The quality of food is good, and medical facilities are available with a hospital in our college.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful by nature well-qualified, knowledgeable, and have very good teaching qualities. The semester exams in our college are easy for all, and proper guidance is provided by the teachers. The passing percentage is 6 SGPA and CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest. The best thing about my course is the proper workshop training area and the machines provided by our college.

SHUATS is an okay place for agriculture and dairy related courses.
Placements: There are very few students that get placed through campus. In dairy and agriculture courses, the success rate is a bit high, but other than that, colleges are not giving placements. Most of the students get jobs through their own link, or offline placements help them secure the jobs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the aesthetic pov is great. Labs and fields are maintained in a very decent way. The on-campus experience is quite good, but out of campus, the area is not as well developed as we look or desire. Overall average rating is best preferred for the infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful, well-learned, and versed in their respected fields. Exams are also conducted smoothly every year. Marking is also pretty lenient. All in all, professors and assistant professors are a plus for the reputation and working of the college.

Absolutely Dissatisfied and Disappointed.
Placements: We are currently studying, and there are 13 students in total in my batch doing B.Tech in Biotechnology. We haven't passed, but I've heard from seniors that there are very few placements from this university, and also most of them have left for other colleges for the same reason.
Infrastructure: They have a lot of land but are not providing facilities. Our department is comparatively better than others, but still, it's only satisfactory when you compare it with other departments. They just cut the connection for AC even in summer, and in most cases, there are even classes where you won't get an AC. The condition of the toilets is bad, and the water tanks also seem unhygienic. There are a lot of benches that are broken, and cleaning is also not proper. They have a Wi-Fi connection, but students don't have any benefits because we don't have access to it.
Faculty: Semester exams are okay. The teachers are helpful, but there is a lot of partiality on the basis of religion, mostly. There are teachers who are not teaching regularly, even though they come to the university. It's based on their mood. Favoritism is also present in the university, and students have to work really hard.

Placements: The average package is typically around 3-8 LPA, one can get hands-on-training in various institutions affiliated with CSIR, ICMR, ICAR, BARC etc. Recruiting companies are- Cipla, Dr. Reddy's etc. Top roles offered in this course are- Research Scientist, Bioprocess Engineer, Clinical Research Associate, Biotechnologist in R&D. Apart from this various companies apart from biotech companies provide job opportunities as well.
Infrastructure: University provides campus-wide high-speed internet access, many classes are fully air-conditioned, along with this classes are equipped with projectors. Laboratories like biotechnology lab, industrial microbiology lab, biochemical engineering lab, issue culture technology lab and bioinformatics lab are having well-equipped instruments and computers for the students. Institute has its own library separately for Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Industrial Microbiology and Biochemical Engineering apart from the University main library. There is a seminar hall in the institute for conferences. University provides hostels both for boys & girls and dining facilities. Various canteens and cafes are in the campus. There is a basketball court, field for kho-kho, volleyball, cricket and football and a separate badminton court. One can't find problem with banking services & ATM as an on-campus bank is for transaction facilities. Laundry services for the hostel residents. Parking space for students, faculty, and staff vehicles.
Faculty: The faculty here is very helpful and knowledgeable with most holding advanced degrees and relevant experience. They provide academic support and guidance, both in theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum is relevant and aims to make students industry-ready, with a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. It includes lab work, research projects and internships. Semester exams are moderate, with a pass percentage typically ranging from 75-90%. .
Other: The integration of theoretical and hands-on practical learning, access to labs for research, and exposure to real-world biotechnology challenges are among the strengths of this program. Biotechnology has growing importance in fields like healthcare, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals. The course offers opportunities to engage in innovative research and practical applications. SHUATS hosts a variety of fests, including food, cultural, technical, and sports events. JIBB, SHUATS conducts various workshops, and biotech-related events that help the students stay connected with industry trends. The college provides the best campus experience.
Placements: There are almost 50 students per batch; out of that, around 10 students get placed in highly reputed companies every year. The package varies between 15k to 35k at the start and increments later. Top companies like Parle, Nestle, Amul, ITC, etc., are the recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is just average with efficient water facilities, Wi-Fi, library, security, etc. But the drawback is the poor quality food provided in the mess. There are some extracurricular activities like food fests, sports, etc. There is also an active medical facility hospital available on this campus.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and are sufficient in knowledge. They really help throughout the semesters to clear every doubt. Also, this course is highly practical. They also provide us opportunities for various industrial visits and training.
