SHUARTS B.Com faculty and their pros and cons.

Placements: Only a few students get placements in the college. Around 5-10% of B.Tech students get placements. The average salary package offered is around 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj and local companies are Nandi Agro Private Limited, etc. There is no company that recruits B.Com students. Internships are not provided by our college.

Dissatisfied because of events and fests. Good placements were offered before 2020.

Placements: 1) There are total around 400 students in my course. 2) The lowest package is 15k, and the highest is 25k. 3) Agriculture sector companies, fertilizer companies, etc. use to approach. 4) Around 30% students get internships in Titan bitotech, Ajanta soya, etc. 5) Agriculture Officer, Farm Manager, SEED Technologists, etc. are the top roles offered.

Faculty is good but placement is very poor.

Placements: I completed BBA in 2022. In the last year, few companies came like BYJU'S, JIO, and a few local companies situated in Prayagraj. Mostly offered sales jobs with an average package of 3.5 lakhs. In my class, out of 60, only 6 got placed. Internships are not provided by the college.

College is almost average .

Placements: Placements are very low in this university. My seniors got an average CTC of INR 2-3 lacs per annum. Top recruiters are Tech Mahindra, John deere, UPL etc. Placement cell is almost dead here. Only forty five percent of students got placed and they are not satisfied as well.

It is a good college for placements and has a healthy learning environment.

Placements: Almost 30% of students are placed in electrical and other regional companies. The main companies for recruitment are Suzlon Solar and Alstom. Only 40% of students got internships.

Placements: Approximately 60 students have been placed with the highest package of 4L CTC, the lowest of 2.5 LPA and average of 3.2L per annum. Amul, Iffco and VNR seeds come to the college for placements. 0% students got internship.

Campus life is great but the placements and course are not so good.

Placements: Very few companies came at the time of placement but not a single irrigation company. It may be because of covid but still, the salary package was also not good. The highest salary package offered was around 5 LPA. Very few students got placed and many didn't even consider applying for the jobs.

I am not satisfied with the placement and infrastructure of our food tech department.

Placements: In the last 2 to 3 years there are fewer chances of placement here, i.e., about 10 -20%. Companies like Amul, and Banas dairy come for placements. Around 10% of students get an internship. We get an internship in companies like Amul, and Britania. The average package here is 2 LPA-2.5 LPA.

In this college, the only issue is with placements.

Placements: Around 40% of students are placed in this course. The highest salary package offered is 29 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The minimum salary offered is Rs 47,000 per month by Amul. They get to do internships from research centers and these companies as well. Students also get to do field visits for work experience.

It is an average college.

Placements: I am currently studying at Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture Technology and Sciences, Under the department of commerce, "Joseph School of Business Studies and Commerce", and there is no student placed in our course (Bachelor of Commerce). But in other courses placements are available.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the locality and seniors of our college.

Placements: If you are from other professional courses like biotech, dairy tech and food tech, there is a bit possibility that you will get placed with 3-4 LPA. But if you belong to courses related to agriculture, there is no chance of getting placed. The college students don't talk about placements.

Professors are really good and helpful but according to fee they are not worth.

Placements: As I'm opting non a technical course there is no placement in my course. The however ratio of placements for technical courses is also not good. There are very few or no placements from our university. No companies visit our university every passing year.

There is no placement in past years. And I am highly dissatisfied.

Placements: No students were placed in my course. Not a single student got an internship even companies are not coming. There are no top roles offered in my course. Students can apply for NGOs if they are interested. Students should also do internships in companies.

Placements: Almost 200-300 students got admission during our tenure. The highest salary package offered in our course is 4 LPA. Only Amul, Deejay and very few companies visit here for campus placements. None of our classmates got placed in any company due to Covid. The top roles offered in our course are agricultural officer, extension officer, etc.

Avg. College. In dairy sector getting job is really easy but you can't expect fast growth.

Placements: Most of the student get placed but salary will be somewhere around 10k and growth is really slow as compared to the other sector, 10k salary is also being given to labourer so as per finance part you will have the same status as a labourer has. So career growth is very slow.

There are good faculty members and the environment.

Placements: Least number of placements are provided here with low salary packages. Top recruiting companies for our courses are Central Forensic Science Laboratory, private laboratories, universities, etc. Less internships are offered here. Scientific assistant and laboratory attendant roles are offered here.

Overall the course is good if you are interested in it or else don't waste money on it.

Placements: Only a less number of students, i.e., 1-3 students out of 120 got placed from college. The college did not have initiative for internships, and you have to apply by yourself. Roles in this course offered are not diverse. Students are selected sometimes for marketing, which they have no idea.
