Somaiya Vidyavihar University offers UG, PG and Diploma courses based on merit and entrance. It is not very hard to secure a seat at Somaiya Vidyavihar University, provided the candidates successfully fullfil the eligiblity criteria.

For courses such as BDes, BTech, BSc, BCA and other UG level programmes, candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 45% to 55% in Class 12. Along with that, candidates must secure a valid score/ percentile in eligible entrance exams such as UCEED, PERA CET, NIFT entrance exam, NID entrance exam, JEE Main, CUET etc.  

For PG level programmes such as MA, MTech, MSc etc. candidates must secure a minimum aggregate of 40% to 55% in graduation. Apart from that, candidates must secure a valid score/ percentile in respective entrance exams such as MAH CET, GATE, CUET-PG, MHTCET M.Tech etc.

This scholarship is awarded to the admitted students for courses of BTech in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering or Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design & Technology)

Students can work up to 3 hours per day or 6 hours on weekends, for 2–3 days a week, capped at six months. 

INR 150 per hour, with a maximum of INR 3000 per month, paid digitally.
