MTech is a two-year course divided into four semesters. SRM Institute of Technology Kattankulathur offers M.Tech in full-time mode in 27 specialisations and part-time in nine specialisations. Yes, the Kattanlkulathur campus of SRMIST offers BCA programme. It is a three-year UG course. For admission to the programme, aspirants should have passed Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate. In addition, aspirant should have studied either of the mandatory subjects - Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Statistics/Allied Mathematics. The seat allotment is carried out based on merit in the last qualifying examination. 

For students who wish to apply on the basis of their Class 12, having Maths or Business Mathematics/Statistics/Allied Mathematics is compulsory. However, those who wish to apply on their basis of their Diploma in Engineering don't need the same.
