Q:   Is B.E. / B.Tech at SVSU - Swami Vivekanand Subharti University a good choice?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at SVSU - Swami Vivekanand Subharti University a good choice?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Pros:

* Good placement record: About 60-70% of students from the CSE branch get placed, with an average package of INR3-4 Lacs per annum.
* Well-qualified faculty: Majority of the teachers are M.Tech/PhD qualified and are helpful and supportive.
* Modern infrastructure: The college has well-equipped labs, classrooms, and hostels with Wi-Fi connectivity.
* Good academic performance: The pass percentage is relatively high (around 40%) in most subjects.
* Variety of courses: The university offers a range of courses, including Bio-stream options.

Cons:

* Limited exposure to top companies: Few reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment, leading to limited placement opportunities.
* Average package: While the average package is decent, it could be higher considering the qualifications and skills of the graduates.
* Infrastructure issues: Some students reported poor Wi-Fi connectivity and occasionally malfunctioning smart boards.
* Limited opportunities for internships: Few internships are available, and those that exist might not offer competitive stipends.

Overall, while SVSU has its strengths, such as good faculty and infrastructure, it seems to struggle with limited placement opportunities and lower-than-expected packages. However, the university appears to be making efforts to improve its industry connections and placement records.

Recommendation: For students seeking a strong educational foundation and a chance to develop their skills, SVSU might be a suitable option. However, those looking for extensive corporate connections and higher-paying job prospects might consider alternative institutions.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: I am a student of the B.Com course, and I am doing well in my exams, and I score good marks. The minimum marks students get are 90 to 95 percentages in exams every year, and the average package offered in the B.Com course is about 6 to 7 lacs rupees. The top recruiting companies are Mahindra, Tata, Reliance, and other high-rated companies. 95 to 98% or 99% of students get internships in this course.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructures are very good and have very nice classroom furniture and pure water facilities in this college. In this college, hostel facilities are also available, and students are also deserving of very cheap prices. The college also has a library computer lab, a science lab, and a very big playground, and the hostel food is very good.
Faculty: Teachers and professors are of this college very good and helpful nature, and teachers are helping students to understand most of the lectures, and the teaching quality of the teachers is very unique. Teachers are qualified with TGT, PGT, and Ph.D. The exams of the college are semester-wise, and semesters are divided in half-yearly.
Other: I chose this course because in my 11/12 I studied commerce at Shastri Vidyalaya Inter High School. The best thing about the course is that they are easy to handle, understand, and teach or read about. I wish to be a better student and a businessman in my life.

Good experience. I have gained a lot of knowledge in this college.
Placements: 80% of students were placed in my college who have completed masters courses. In my college, they were getting the highest package of 10 LPA and the lowest package of 2 LPA in the Masters course. I didn't get any placement because I've completed my Bachelors of Commerce from this college, but my college provided the placement facilities.
Infrastructure: I am talking about the facilities of the infrastructure What is available in my college is good, such as wi-fi and furnished classrooms and furnished libraries, and the quality of the food available in college is good, but it needs to be improved. My college is also providing the medical and sports and games facilities.
Faculty: When I am talking about the faculty, they are good. They are very experienced and knowledgeable teachers and they are very supportive. And helpful to average students. Yes, my course was relevant. And it makes me ready for my career growth.

I recommend this college for students looking for an affordable college with good placement.
Placements: As we know, college placement play a vital role in determining that it is good or not, as on average, 37% of all students get into a medium enterprise offering 10-15 LPA package. Top recruiting companies like HCL, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and Bicano mostly came for placements. Minimum 60% of students received internships due to the availability of seats. The most common role offered by my course were those of Accountant, Sales executive and many others. I hope you will find my opinion helpful.
Infrastructure: In my college, the best part is that our classrooms are very big, air conditioned and have internet facilities for students as well as staff. Science, math labs, and libraries are well designed and structured, and the library is very big, which means that 500 students can easily read books at one time. There are many facilities available for hostel students, like good hygienic food and tasty snacks, medical facilities for any medical emergency, and sports rooms with all sports equipment.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful in guiding students to study, well qualified in their field and full of knowledge. No, in this course, the mandatory curriculum is not relevant and does not unnecessarily make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not so difficult and can be easily cracked and the passing percentage is 50 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I want to make a future in the field of accounting and this course offers all the advantages of this field. I wish my course to be difficult because it is easily crackable and any student can pursue it, so I want to increase the difficulty level of my course. There are several types of events for students in which big celebrities are invited and fests are organized regularly; connectivity is not proper; extracurricular activities and scholarships are available for students.

The campus is good, with well-maintained infrastructure.
Placements: Our college has given placements in Paytm, Lloyd, Mankind, etc. In the last few years, students with A-division results have been placed in our class.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, but the hostel food quality is better compared to hostels in other colleges. The college is equipped with Wi-Fi and labs for practicals. There is a central library in the college with all sorts of books. Air conditioning facilities are available in the library and some classrooms.
Faculty: We get our date sheet 1 to 2 weeks prior to the exam. Exams are conducted fairly and transparently. Faculty members are hardworking and try to help with all they've got. There is no need to worry about the exams as our professors are hardworking, supportive, and well qualified. Students who are weak are required to take extra classes to cover the syllabus taught in the class and to keep up with the other students.
Other: Students can enjoy their farewell and freshers.

I am satisfied but not that much because the fees are a bit high.
Placements: About 40% of the students got placed, but I don't know about the salary offered to the students because I didn't get placement. Wipro, Paytm and Samsung are the topmost recruiting companies of our college for placements. Roles like clerk position or computer operator are offered to the students. In our course, the highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month for a beginner in a one-month internship.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are not enough for students. Wi-Fi is active, but it is not for students. Classrooms have only fans which I think is not value for the money paid by students. I don't know about hostels because I am a day scholar. The library doesn't have course-related books.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified, but they don't behave equally with students. They only give theoretical knowledge to students but not practical. I don't think students are satisfied with the service or knowledge provided by teachers.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am a commerce student.
