Absolutely dissatisfied. Infrastructure is good though.

Placements: By studying just agriculture degree we should not expect placements with the highest amount of package where it is 99.9% impossible. Even though some companies came for recruitment of students the salary is very less where the daily wage workers are earning more than 25k to 30k and we agriculture students got 15k to 20k and it is called as placements. First I don't know how many students are placed in our college and I am damn sure if any one placed the highest salary received in our college may...

Our college has good infrastructure and a good environment for studying.

Placements: There were no placements. Internships were offered based on the pay scale. Even if the college hosts a job fair, the companies will only offer sales executive positions. The highest salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month.

Review of Don Bosco College of Agriculture.

Placements: Placements are not conducted here. If you pass out from college, then you have to search the jobs on your own or apply for higher studies.

The college provides good infrastructure and learning. It lags in providing placements.

Placements: It is the area where the college lags. There used to be good placements opportunities, especially from banking sectors in the past few years. But after 2014, placements of the college are reduced. For B.Sc. agriculture group, placements are fairly good, but when coming to courses like biotechnology and bioinformatics, there are very fewer placements.

I am dissatisfied with placements but has good infrastructure.

Placements: Around 114 students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is in entomology, pathology, and soil science. Biofertilizers companies offer placements in our college but internships are provided in our course. Agri entrepreneurs hire students. Most students start entrepreneurs.

It is a good college with good infrastructure.

Placements: There were no much placements here since it had no accreditation of ICAR. Hence it was a great disappointment for the students who pursue post-graduation. Less percentage of students are placed in jobs after leaving college.

Review of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.

Placements: After the completion of the course, we were eligible for placements. Good companies visited the campus for placements for the good future of students. There were no campus placements for agriculture. Marketing companies hired students at minimum wages. So students opt for PG programmes and other competitive exams. You can become a research scientist, silk board, spice board, coffee board, food corporation, etc.

Theoretically good. But practically not upto the level.

Placements: 5 percent placement record. Maximum salary offered was 40000, no idea regarding minimum salary. Top companies are hdfc home loan, city union bank, BSAF seed. Credit analysis, officer cadre in bank, junior research fellow, marketing manager, trainer at trinity agricultural officer coaching institute are the top recruiter.
