Overall a good institution.

Placements: In one branch the total capacity is around 65-70 students. The highest package got from CSE branch. Top recruiting company L&T, BlackRock, Amul, ONGC, etc. From one batch it depends on recruiter to intake newbies. On average 10-20 students gets paced on campus placement.

Best college to enjoy and learn because of the great campus, it's full of greenery.

Placements: Placement is average here. You should not expect to get a 1cr+ package here. But you can definitely get a 22 LPA if you study well and maintain a good CGPA. The highest package went this year was 22 -25 LPA, and the average package went to 4-6 LPA. If you work hard, you will definitely get a good package. 80-90 percent of the students were placed in CSE and ECE branches. I am sorry, but placements in other branches are quite low. You will definitely get good, highly qualified teachers here. Some...

Apart from placements scenario, it is a good place to be in for engineering.

Placements: I was from the corona batch, so placements were nil. However, placements were not good in this branch and not many companies visit but I must mention that Powergrid visits sometimes but picks only the topper. Few IT companies do visit here, but they were not that great.

The campus is lush green, and it is away from town.

Placements: Our department is not top-notch for placement purposes. There are no on-campus placements, but one has to apply through off-campus and the information is provided to us for that. The exposure for internships is low as well. Students apply for an internship on their own. Our faculty members are good for recommendations when applying for research internships, but other than that, no job related talk is appreciated.

Tezpur University is a prestigious university around the world.

Placements: A maximum of 2% of students from our department got placed. I don't know about other courses. Placements are the only thing where our university lacks. None of the PSUs visits here for engineering students except for the mechanical department. At least 5 PSUs should visit from every department. None of the PSUs visits, which is very disappointing, and being a civil engineering student, it is very difficult.

It has good, helpful and cooperative teachers, but the schedule is hectic. Placements are average.

Placements: From the ECE branch, more than 90% of the students got placed. The lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 24 LPA. Top companies which visit here for placements are Wipro, Synopsys Ltd, Regalix, etc. Every student does an internship after their 6th semester. The internship cell handles wherever you want to do an internship.

The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, the average salary package offered is 4 LPA and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Review of Tezpur University - TEZU.

Placements: I am from the School of Sciences, which won't be good compared to the School of Engineering. Campus placements are comparatively low in the School of Sciences. However, still, we are not facing difficulties as we get opportunities to do internships in prestigious universities across the country.

A young but promising department of one of the best universities .

Placements: Placement is okay in the institute. Many students get placements in regional finance companies. There are some who have cleared NET exam and have gone for research. As the department is new, placements as of yet are not strong, but it shows promise.

The lowest salary offered is around 3lpa and the highest is 15lpa. The average salary is around 4-5lpa. Placements: Being a course which is more inclined towards academics, there were no placements for our previous batch. While for this batch placements are still in process and we've a hope that there will be positive outcome for it. While everyone of us got internships.

Faculty is trustworthy but placements are not! Infrastructure is to be updated and facilities too!

Placements: Placements to be honest are not quite sound in the civil engineering branch! Every year 1-2 companies come to recruit whose average salary is around 2 LPA. Government companies are very rare and mostly reservation oriented! With time I am sure this scenario will change as compared to the previous years the average package has soared!

Placements: From the statistics, the university is quite new, and the figures are good. Placements were average. The salary packages offered were also average. About 30% of the students got placed in various companies with technical as well as managerial posts. Companies like Amazon, Oil India Limited and Power grid were offering the highest salary.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch was better than our batch. The highest salary package offered was 24 LPA. Placements for our batch was not good. Many students opted for offline interviews due to lack of campus placements. Companies that visited during our time are Quaqua, Zaloni, etc. A pool campus was also held in AEC for all the students of the North East region.

Facilities provided are good, but the faculty who are pursuing their PhDs are not good.

Placements: The university does not provide any placement opportunities for the students of the B. Voc department. We don't have any placement cell. However, most of the students get internships in good companies, but the companies do not provide any stipend for us. It's mandatory for the students of the B.Voc department to do internships after the completion of each semester. However, we do internships only for 15 days.

Placements: The central placement cell of the university has not given any preference to the students of the B.Voc. department until now. B.Voc students were not included in any placement activities of the department. However, students get internship opportunities easily. Students have to do internships after the completion of every semester.
