Placements: The placement cell of Tezpur University does not cater much to the humanities stream. However, the scenario is slowly changing, and we have started to get increasing placement opportunities in the past few years. But, studying at a central university will surely ensure a better scope in the future.

Placements: If you have a good CGPA and cleared GATE examination with a good rank, then many companies like ONGC, NPTEL and many other gas corporations and other PSUs come to the college. Manager, officer, field officer, etc., roles are offered. If you want placements, then you should focus on your skills. There is a top possibility of placements even if you are in any branch, but if you're good at coding, then there is a possibility of getting placements. Placements: First of all, it's a course of Science and no one (other companies) will come to get you a placement on the basis of your merit and all, you have to find jobs on yourself, that's the way it is, has been for years because you are pursuing a degree on 'Science'. Placements: Almost 60% of students get campus placements and internships from here. Companies like Intel, etc., visit here for placements, so the highest salary package offered could be more than 20 LPA. Mostly local startups as well as some companies like Amazon, Intel, Amul, etc., visit here. There are a lot of opportunities from the MCA course.

Placements: At least 50% of the students got placements through on-campus and off-campus placements. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Lots of companies visit for campus placements in our university. Our university is also known for its research work done by students while pursuing their degrees.

Placements: 20% on an average gets placed every year in the 7th and 8th semester. The salary offered was 1.45 Lacs/month (maximum), 8000/month (minimum) and 20000/month (average). Power grid was the top recruiting company. Associate Engineer, Branch Manager, CEO were the roles offered. Placements: Almost 70% of our batchmates got placed. Top companies were Zaloni and HP with stating salary package of 5 LPA. Most of them were placed as software engineers in the companies. Rest are pursuing their PhD from reputed institutes like NITs and IITs. I am satisfied with the placements.

Placements: In our batch, most of the students joined in IITs for PhD, and few were placed in a coaching institute. Some of them also joined the BCIL training programme for industrial training, and now they are placed in the Biotech company. In this year, one of the students was placed in TCS and offered with a salary package of 10 LPA.

Placements: Placements were improving while we were studying st the college. As it has not been many years since civil engineering department is established. However, still, a few companies visited our campus for placements at that time. But, I have heard the scenario has improved a lot with regular recruiters like Powergrid, NRL etc.

Placements: There are no direct placements, and internship programmes are provided. Here the course consists of two semesters, and it is a new course. The curriculum consists of the dissertation and internships rather than any direct placements, so no companies had visited the campus. The passed-out batches got placed in various NGO's with a package of 6 LPA.

Placements: There are no placements for the social work department. As of now, but the compulsory internships give a diverse work experience. Students need to do three mandatory internships within the four semesters. This ensures that the students get ample opportunity to discover their interest area and also adds to their credibility once they complete their course.

Placements: It was good to some extent. But people with more than 7.5 pointers are likely to get placed. Moreover companies like Infosys, DRDO have been its recruiters. Different departments have their own tie-ups with companies leading to a good placement for the good CGPA holders.

Placements: We don't have direct placements. Instead, we have been given compulsory internships in various sectors to work for a month. For the social work department, no companies visited the campus yet. The course is more of field works and related to NGO sectors. Placements: Organisations like UNICEF, select the passed out students. Many non-governmental organisations like Drishti, etc., also visit the campus for placements. In 2019, one of the students got placed in SESTA, an NGO in Assam that works for the betterment of Northeast. The stipend may vary from Rs. 12,000 to 30,000.

Placements: Tezpur University do not offer direct placements. Instead they made provisions like compulsory internship programmes with esteemed organisations based upon interest areas. Also seniors were seen to be placed in Gandhi fellowships and various CSRs. The salary depends on the packages offered and til date it didnot exceeded 5 Lacs per annum. Placements: As this department comes under the school of humanities and social sciences, companies like Paper True, Quaqua, etc., visited the campus for placements. Other departments like MBA and school of engineering get better opportunities from top companies.

Placements: Placements in our college are not par compared to the universities in our region. Hopefully, the placement cell will do a better job in the coming years. The first batch of our department will be passed out this summer. But, only a few students have been placed in one of the top accounting firms of India.

Placements: Many campus placement drives were held here, but since the majority of the students opt for PhDs, only a few students go for jobs. Some students got placed in companies with a decent salary package. However, more companies should be summoned to hold good placement records.

Placements: Only a few campus placements per year. Especially in some companies like oil, and in few coaching institutes as faculty. Although campus placement is not good most of the teachers make you well prepared for future opportunities. If you want to continue your studies to postdoc level there are many teachers in the department whose recommendation works very well. Many of our alumni are engaged in many attractive institutions.

Placements: The overall success of the department is remarkable. More than 80% of the total students secured first-class and many of them enrolled themselves in PhD and M.Phil clearing NET JRF, SLET, etc. Some of them choose the BEd course as their career option. The department has been able to maintain it's human sciences credibility with considerable academic brilliance.
