Placements: Placement is average here. You should not expect to get a 1cr+ package here. But you can definitely get a 22 LPA if you study well and maintain a good CGPA. The highest package went this year was 22 -25 LPA, and the average package went to 4-6 LPA. Placements: Our university offers decent placements in our batch. Around 176 students of UG and PG courses got placed in reputed companies. Approximately 10% of students got placed in civil engineering. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The top recruiting company is L&T. Almost 100% of students got internships in different companies. Top roles are also offered in our course.

Placements: Placements are relatively good considering this is a tier-3 college. Almost 75% to 80% of students are placed in the 2022 batch. The lowest salary package offered is about 3 LPA and the highest is 35 LPA. Most service-based companies offer an average salary package of 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Amazon offered the highest salary package of 35 LPA. Core companies such as Alstom and L&T offer an average salary package of 6 LPA.

Placements: Some students got to study in institutions like the Tata Institute of Social Science and some chose to study further. The average salary package offered was 8 LPA. The usual recruiters were Byju's, CBSE government, and private schools like Army School, KV's, NVS's, etc. Students got internships at IIT, IISER, etc. There was the usual teaching internship in B.Ed., where all students were divided into groups. Placements: As far as I know on campus the highest was 6.5LPA the lowest was 3LPA. TCS no one got internships Software Engineer. The placement scenario isn't as good as it is. This is mainly due to a lack of very good connectivity with the airport. If it improves it will be as good as IITs.

Placements: I was from the corona batch, so placements were nil. However, placements were not good in this branch and not many companies visit but I must mention that Powergrid visits sometimes but picks only the topper. Few IT companies do visit here, but they were not that great.

Placements: From our Batch, we are receiving a good amount of placements and campus recruitments than in previous years. Companies that have come are Wipro, TCS, Alstom, Allegion, Cognizant, Capgemini, Byjuys, L&T, etc. About 60% of our class are placed. Roles offered are Graduate Engineer Trainee, Junior Manager, etc.

Placements: The placement cell of Tezpur University does not cater much to the humanities stream. However, the scenario is slowly changing, and we have started to get increasing placement opportunities in the past few years. But, studying at a central university will surely ensure a better scope in the future.

Placements: If you have a good CGPA and cleared GATE examination with a good rank, then many companies like ONGC, NPTEL and many other gas corporations and other PSUs come to the college. Manager, officer, field officer, etc., roles are offered. If you want placements, then you should focus on your skills. There is a top possibility of placements even if you are in any branch, but if you're good at coding, then there is a possibility of getting placements. Placements: First of all, it's a course of Science and no one (other companies) will come to get you a placement on the basis of your merit and all, you have to find jobs on yourself, that's the way it is, has been for years because you are pursuing a degree on 'Science'. Placements: Our department is not top-notch for placement purposes. There are no on-campus placements, but one has to apply through off-campus and the information is provided to us for that. The exposure for internships is low as well. Students apply for an internship on their own. Our faculty members are good for recommendations when applying for research internships, but other than that, no job related talk is appreciated.

Placements: Almost 60% of students get campus placements and internships from here. Companies like Intel, etc., visit here for placements, so the highest salary package offered could be more than 20 LPA. Mostly local startups as well as some companies like Amazon, Intel, Amul, etc., visit here. There are a lot of opportunities from the MCA course.

Placements: There are no placements for my branch, i.e., electrical engineering. Our placement department is incompetent to do its job. But some students got jobs from CSE and ECE with a package of about 4 to 5 LPA. But the placements for core departments are nil.

Placements: A maximum of 2% of students from our department got placed. I don't know about other courses. Placements are the only thing where our university lacks. None of the PSUs visits here for engineering students except for the mechanical department. At least 5 PSUs should visit from every department. None of the PSUs visits, which is very disappointing, and being a civil engineering student, it is very difficult.

Placements: At least 50% of the students got placements through on-campus and off-campus placements. The average salary package offered is 8 LPA. Lots of companies visit for campus placements in our university. Our university is also known for its research work done by students while pursuing their degrees.

Placements: From the ECE branch, more than 90% of the students got placed. The lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 24 LPA. Top companies which visit here for placements are Wipro, Synopsys Ltd, Regalix, etc. Every student does an internship after their 6th semester. The internship cell handles wherever you want to do an internship.

Placements: Approximately 20% of the students got placements from all departments. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, the average salary package offered is 4 LPA and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Zaloni and Power Grid. Almost 50 to 60% of the students got an internship through college.

Placements: I am from the School of Sciences, which won't be good compared to the School of Engineering. Campus placements are comparatively low in the School of Sciences. However, still, we are not facing difficulties as we get opportunities to do internships in prestigious universities across the country.

Placements: The batch which passed out has got almost 100% placement in various organisations and NGOs like UNICEF and Drishti Foundation. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Almost 100% of the students from our course got an internship in UNICEF. This course deals with community development.

Placements: Placement is okay in the institute. Many students get placements in regional finance companies. There are some who have cleared NET exam and have gone for research. As the department is new, placements as of yet are not strong, but it shows promise.
