The college has to improve its placements and faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college are not much good as the placement percentage was 9.86%, last year. The highest salary package offered was about 8 LPA. Companies that visited the campus were Amazon, HCL, Tech Mahindra etc. The college launches a placement cell which improves our placements to a better level.

Faculty are very good. They need to focus on providing industry exposure.

Placements: Most of the companies that visit the campus are service based companies providing lower packages. Only a few product-based companies offer good packages. But the intake of candidates is very low. Some companies leave without even recruiting atleast one candidate. This may be because of the lack of industrial related project knowledge and preparation sessions for larger product-based companies. Although the placement scenario is getting better nowadays compared to earlier years. But one needs pro...

B.Voc in food processing, Tezpur University review.

Placements: Placements scenario is very poor, not a single student got placement. If placement is a concern then its better not go for this course. Internships are included in the course curriculum but all are without stipend, University didn't fund a rupee at all.

I am satisfied with the course. I recommend others to join.

Placements: Placements of M.Tech has been seen doing a fare upshift. B.Voc is comparatively new course. We were the first batch of this course in our University. Our strength was 15. 3 of them are already working. Those were placed off campus. Others have been seen studying higher studies in different Universities like BHU, IBS, Tezpur University. Internships are mandatory part of B.Voc programme. We got opportunity to do internships in many small or big industries. For example, Amul in Anand ( Gujarat), SR...

Placements: Placements are satisfactory. Almost 20% of students were placed. The highest salary offered was 17 lacs per annum from NRL and the lowest 3 lacs per annum. Companies like NRL, PowerGrid, Simplex, etc. had visited the campus. Roles like site engineer, lower level workers were offered.

Tezpur University has good infrastructure and hostel facilities.

Placements: Around 60-70% of students from our batch got placed, which was a little low compared to our senior batches who had almost 80-90% placements. Some of the companies that visited our campus were Intel, Zaloni, Nestle, Dabur, Directi, etc.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch are good. Almost 100% of the students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 6.7 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA and the average salary package offered may be approximately 4 LPA. Many big MNCs visited the university for placements. Internship opportunities provided by the college are very few.

A good infrastructure campus with beautiful naturally rich green surrounding.

Placements: Tezpur University has an active Training and Placement Cell to facilitate final placements and other related activities. As a student from the Department of Business administration, I have seen most of my seniors getting placed in reputed companies by Third semester itself. Some of the major recruiters of the Department of Business Administration are Airtel, Amul, HDFC, ONGC, ICICI Bank, Dabur India Ltd, American Express, ITDC Ltd and many more. The university also has a strong alumni reach.

Placements: Placements in Electronics department are not up to the mark. The companies that came this year are only from IT. Placements were good before two years. Even the placement cell does't have enough contacts to bring the companies. There is only one student who was selected in a well known company. The remaining guys who were selected were into some call center and sales executive profiles. Overall, the placement scenario is below average. In this year only around 10% were placed. Placements: The Placement Scenario truly speaking is not upto the mark. But Day by Day the placement scenario is increasing for every Department I will say. Many MNC's like Wipro, Amazon, Patanjali have visited our campus in the past 2 years and recruited many of the students with a moderate package and not only MNCs many PSU's like Powergrid and OIL has also visited our campus in recent years. The college has good infrastructure with good faculty.

Placements: The placements are about 30% for my batch. We have a placement cell, which works hard to increase the number of placements in our college The highest salary package is about 3.8 LPA. Companies like Simplex infrastructure Ltd., Averest, Power Grid, and Oil India Limited come to the college for the placements. The roles offered were either site engineer or salesman. Around 60% of the students got internships. The highest stipend is Rs. 80,000 per annum and the lowest is Rs. 7,000 per annum.

Placements: The placement scenario is very bad. There are no good placements in almost all the branches. CSE may have little good placements. I don't know about the exact figures of the packages. Many companies visit, but they take only a few students with them. Companies like TCS, OIL, etc., visit the college. There is a placement cell, and it is quite efficient.

Placements: The placements for civil engineering in the Tezpur University are not that good. The placements are good for other B.Tech branches. Computer science and engineering is the best branch regarding the placements in this college. Placements: Placements, even if not 100%, are fair enough and have shown a progress with every passing year. The package varies from 3-12 LPA. The common recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Intel, IBM, etc. But for food engineering, we have specific recruiters like Nestle, ITC, etc.

Placements: The placement scenario in TU is not good. Except for the School of Engineering and the School of Business Administration, the others do not get placements. The T&P cell is somewhat unable to reach out to organisations and has failed to bring placements to the campus. Students have worked their way out to get themselves employed in various fields.

Great faculty but the courses need revision and to be updated.

Placements: Though this institute's reputation is top notch and being in the top 150 institutes in Asia along with IIT Ghy, this institute couldn't grab the attention of the corporates for high package jobs or position. Maximum Rs. 5 LPA package could be bagged from this institute via placements. This can be said mainly because of the location (northeast India) and lack of work by the MBA department for bringing placements. This year though, in 2016-2017 batch, there has been some progress with IOCL taking ...

Placements: As the university has made itself one of the top institutions in the country, the placement scenario will rise from good to better. Overall, a rating of 3.5 out 5 can be provided to its placement cell. From the batch of 2016, students from Computer Science and Engineering bagged most of the jobs.
