Quite satisfied with the facilities. However, the college can be improved to become the best.

Placements: Overall, this is a good university. Our faculty members are good, and they teach well. They provide materials and teach with the help of digital methods. The campus is good with good infrastructure. The management supports its students in all aspects. Placements are not that great here, but around 20 to 30 students get placed with a salary package of 1 LPA to 2.5 LPA from every batch. The training and placement cell encourages students all the time.

Overall, the University have good faculties. It would be more beneficial if the placements improved

Placements: The placement was not upto mark for our course. Being in the first batch, maybe we didn't got wide exposure. But, however the other departments had quite a lot of placement in good companies. Even in the FET department, brands like Nestle, etc. Came for recruitment.

Placements average, faculty best, university life superb.

Placements: The placement of the English and foreign language department is not that great as compared to other departments of Tezpur University, but better than other colleges and universities of North East India. Since it is a new university and located in a remote area placements are less therefore but gradually it is increasing day by day.

I am very satisfied with Tezpur University.

Placements: There were around 60-65% placements last year. I am not aware of the salary offered but it was mostly around 4-5 Lacs per annum. Some of the students were given clerical jobs in recognised companies or institutes and there were also many who chose to freelance and from what I've heard, they're doing quite good.

A hub of higher education in the North Eastern part of our country.

Placements: The scenario of placements for our senior batch was been on the worse side. As of now, only two students has been successfully placed amongst the batch of around 50 in strength. The fact is that one amongst the two were placed in off-campus drive conducted by Numaligarh Refinery Ltd. Other was placed in a local Coaching Institute at Guwahati.

Placements: Companies like ITC, colgate, OYO, ICICI, SBI, Federal bank etc. Comes for recruitment. Average package is about 5 Lacs. As of now 90 percent of our seniors are placed. Recruitment is still going. Companies are still coming. SIP is compulsory for all at the months of June and July.

Absolutely pleased with my 3-year tenure at TU.

Placements: Placements are good. Many good companies visited the campus for our department. Moreover, we got a chance to do internships in very good industries like Purabi Dairy, Vidya Dairy, Dream Bake Private Limited, Ruma Bakery, Parle etc. Over the years, Tezpur University has really improved a lot mainly in the case of placements.

This is the best university.

Placements: Students get placement opportunities from different sectors. Some government schools also visit the campus for placements. Students need to score a minimum academic percentage of 6.5 CGPA to get placed. All the students of the previous batch were placed. Students need to have good communication skills and other necessary skills such as presentation skills and good knowledge to get placed.

Review of Tezpur University - TEZU.

Placements: Placements in our college are decent for the students of B.Tech and MBA. But, there are no placements for the students of other courses. The average salary package offered for the students of MBA was around 5 LPA to 6 LPA. Other departments are yet to be developed to achieve 100% placements. Companies like Amul, Powergrid, ICICI Bank, Oyo Rooms, ITC, Colgate, KPMG, etc., visited our college to conduct placement drives.

Placements: Most of the students from computer science, mechanical engineering and food engineering departments got placed. Companies like Amazon, Nestle, Amul, BPCL, and many other reputed companies visit the campus to offer jobs. Most of the students were qualified in GATE exam. The placement percentage is around 70%. This is a mesmerizing university. Campus is spread over 232 acres with lush green environment.

Placements: As our department is newly started, placements for the students of M.Tech are lame at this moment of time. But the placements are improving slowly. Placements are good for B.Tech students and M.Tech students studying electronics and IT. Students of M.E./M.Tech department are more likely to get placed in Cummins, India. However, the placement opportunities are increasing every year.

Satisfied with the college because of good facilities, infrastructure, and placements.

Placements: Placements are very good. Last year, almost 100% of the batch got placed in the campus placements. Only the students who didn't wish to attend the placements didn't get any. PSUs also visit the college for placements. Summer internships are done in various cities. Summer internship reports were provided, and presentations were done.

It is a good university with nominal placements.

Placements: As this is not an IIT or NIT, one should not expect too much about placements. One important reason behind it is the location of the college, which is in the remote area. Some prestigious companies like Amazon, Intel, Patanjali, ITC, etc., visit the college. The placements of core branches like mechanical have increased this year due to the visit of PSU like Oil, but it is still not satisfactory. In branches like CSE and ECE, several students (especially in 2016 batch) got attractive packages, b...

Tezpur university is a institution that provides a wide variety of scope for students to excel.

Placements: Placements are skill oriented identity that merges with luck, but in case of our university it is best because it carry out all round development of professional as well as vocational skills. Due to the vey competition in the outside world the training is very rigorous and tough in this university and for this reason average students too gets a chance to prove their worth working hard. The facilities are also very dedicated towards the placement of students to their desired field. The teachers l...

Tezpur University, an institution where you should be.

Placements: Well, my department is majorly concerned with research and development, and trains the students to get themselves recruited into the best laboratories in the country and the world. The department encourages individual research and also helps students aquainted with the principles and techniques involved in genetic engineering to acquaint them with the current workings in the field. Since most of the students prefer to go for a doctorate after completing the PG courses, placement will not be a go...

Placements: In Tezpur University, Placement Scenario is medium. Around 30-40% student got the job from my senior batch. But In mechanical engineering, all girls are placed. The highest package is around 6.5 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 3 Lacs per annum. And from my university, some students are placed through GATE exam. In my university placement cell is also available which are very helpful for recruitment process and internship.

The students of school of engineering and School of management get considerably good placements while there is a noticeable rise in the curve of placements among the students of School of humanities and social sciences.
