The unveiled truth about NCU.

Placements: We got 90% placement in 2017 batch. Due to change in name of the college from itm to ncu. The college got huge pay in terms of placements. But college is still trying too hard for reaching back to the heights. At for sure in few upcoming years we will back to great placement companies coming up to take students here.

The college had the average infrastructure.

Placements: The placements for senior batches were okay. This batch is not getting good placements. Large companies are avoiding our college. Very few big companies came for recruitment. A lot of small startups coming with sub-par quality jobs, so placed students are rethinking about job opportunities.

A decent university to gain knowledge.

Placements: The university is having a separate branch, i.e. School of Professional Attachment (in short "SPA") to take care of placements but had failed to attract big law firms to visit the campus and hire students. Apart from SPA, the school of law is also having student-driven placement committee, dedicated inviting various firms. In the last year, placement committee managed to secure few placements in mediocre firms at average packages. So, according to me, one cannot expect placements in big firms fr...

Worst experience of my B.Tech. This college is not worthy. The placements are very less.

Placements: The placements in our college are decent. In the recent years, the percentage of the placements has been decreased. Moreover, the companies come to our college are at the high packages, but later they say that the students are undergraduate, so the package is decreased to half of its original package offered.

Not satisfied with the placements of this college.

Placements: Placements at NorthCap University are not that satisfactory, the although highest package for our senior batch went up to 12 lakhs (offered by Deloitte). Other than this, companies like Orange, TCS came for final placements and offered 3 to 4 lakhs. Around 30% of students were placed in my senior batch, which is not a good number I suppose. They don't provide any opportunity for you to do internship but internship is compulsory.

The testimony of truth about my college.

Placements: The placements at NCU (formerly called the ITM university) were moderate during my time. For the CSE and IT branches, many good companies came to the campus like Fidelity, Newgenn, Nagarro etc and there were almost 100% placements. But for the ECE and EEE branches, there weren't many companies.

Faculty and infrastructure is good. But the allocation of faculty for different subjects is not up to the mark. Teacher with a specialization in different subject teaches another subject. ROI is low. Only one mass recruiter-TCS comes to the campus. One cannot appear for companies if one is selected in another company. Hostels are good but there is only one boy’s hostel. The administration is very responsive, though a little restricting sometimes. Discipline maintained is exceptionally good.

The infrastructure is up to the mark, teachers are good. The college lack in placing students in industry. So, placement department needs to work on this issue. As this is the most important thing for a college to grow, and it is the pillar for a student’s success.

I joined this University when it was a college under MD University, Rohtak. There was an intake of only high ranking students and placement records were excellent. But with our college becoming a university, the fee was hiked, and the campus was a better place to live in. But the level of education went down, the crowd was no longer meritorious. Hence the placements were also not good.

The college is comparatively good as compared to other colleges in Gurgaon. The institution is by far the best institution of engineering and ranks no.1 in comparison to all the engineering colleges of Gurgaon. In terms of education and placements, the college is good. In terms of fees per semester and the facilities associated thereto, I don’t think it is justifiable with the fees charged.

If you want to choose among the private colleges in Delhi ncr for engineering, then it is better than amity, manavrachna and others. Though fees is high and also hostel is not available within campus, but overall college is better than other private colleges in Delhi ncr. Also placements are good with a decent package. Rest depends on one's individual capacity.

Good in campus and facility but no placements are provided. Teachers are above average but some mechanical teachers should not be taken. CSE and ECE are given preference as most companies are for these departments. Fees is increasing every year but no good companies come for recruitment.

Provides additional value added courses fir java and other languages which help in building the programming base. Cons: does not have a fixed marking scheme. Teachers just give you numbers somehow. There is not much help from faculty for projects. Practical’s are not that effective, they are just there for the sake of completing a course.

It’s an amazing university for those who seriously want to study in college. Campus life is not much happening. No hostel in campus. Sports activities are good. Cultural fests are not that good but you will have to deal with it. Yo Yo Honey Singh was invited once.

The students are taught the importance of punctuality and discipline from a young age and help them to utilize their time in a more efficient manner. Trained and dedicated teachers provide personal guidance and motivation to students, thus helping them to become strong leaders of tomorrow.

Review of The Northcap University.

Placements: Placements provided in our college are average. There is a well-organised placement cell but is a bit different. They try to provide placements to students. Few passed-out students are still trying to get placements.

My college is an average college but the fees taken is very high as compared to others.

Placements: Around 50 to 60 percent students got placements. The highest package is 15 lacs and minimum is around 4 lacs. Deloitte, Google, Infosys, IBM are the top recruiters. Around 20 to 30 percent students get internship. Data structures, Full stack, Gamming are the roles offered.

Our college has good infrastructure and faculty members. Overall a good experience.

Placements: The placement cell of our college offered a variety of organisations. The scope of placements for management students was pretty low. However, placements for B.Tech students were good. Placement for law students was also low.

It's a good college with nice infrastructure and faculty. The placements can be better.

Placements: Placements are good. 80-85% placements. The highest packages offered are around 8-9 lacs and min package was about 2-3 lacs. Top recruiting companies are Deloitte, kpmg etc. Many B.Tech students were placed in deloitte during campus placements. Normal packages are decent as well.

Our college has average faculty, good placements, average structure, but attendance is a problem.

Placements: Placements are an achievable goal here, and the college surely guarantees placements. It's a great place to get jobs if students maintain minimum CGPA. The placement portal of our college is headed by Mr BK Gupta, who has a lot of connections and invites a lot of companies to the college. As it's a private college, so they only need to provide a high placements record. Otherwise, there would be no admissions. So students who are taking admission in this college shouldn't worry about the placemen...
