Candidates who hold a UG degree of either Engineering/ Science or Management are eligible to apply for MBA admission at UEM Kolkata. Admission to this course is entirely entrance-based. Candidates must qualify for CAT/ MAT/ WB JEMAT or any other state/ national-level entrance exam. The fees for the MBA programme at UEM Kolkata are INR 2.3 Lakhs for the first year. The total fees for the entire programme would depend on the duration of the course, which is typically 2 years. Additionally, the university offers scholarships based on the students' performance in their Bachelor's Degree, with 100%, 50%, and 25% scholarships available for those who have scored 85%, 80%, and 75% marks respectively in their Bachelor's Degree.

No, candidates who have qualified CAT/ MAT/ WB JEMAT/ IEMCET need to appear for GDPI round. Candidates who have qualified CAT/ MAT/ WB JEMAT with at least 85 percentile can appear directly for GDPI round. However, candidates with score less than 85 percentile, need to first appear for the UEM Entrance Test followed by a GDPI round. A pass in graduation with at least 60% aggregate & above in Science/ Management (70% aggregate & above for Engineering) is required to apply for MBA and part-time MBA course. Also, candidates must secure at least 70% aggregate & above in Class 10 and 65% aggregate in Class 12 to apply for MBA and part-time MBA courses. Additionally, a work experience of a minimum of three-year is required to apply for part-time MBA. Good communication skill is an added advantage.
