University of Rajasthan is a public/ government university located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is one of the oldest universities in the state. It was set up in 1947 as the University of Rajasthan in 1956. Spread in approximately 705.0 acres on Jawaharlal Nehru Marg, also known as the central spine of Jaipur, the university has always accorded a high priority to games and sports.
