DU LLB Counselling 2023 - Delhi University will conduct counselling process of DU LLB 2023 admissions on the basis of CUET PG 2023 scores. The university will prepare the merit list for the three-year LLB course for CUET PG Law 2023 qualified candidates after the results are declared. DU LLB counselling process 2023 will be held in online mode only (as conducted in previous years), and there shall be at least three merit rounds of seat allotment process. DU CUET LLB 2023 merit lists will be prepared category-wise separately for the 3-year LLB admission to fill 2,888 seats vacant at all the law centres. The admission list contains details related to the combined merit rank in DU LLB 2023, overall marks, qualifying marks/ GP, and the category as filled by the candidate. The admission committee approves admission of the candidates participating in DU LLB counselling 2023 after document verification and admission fee payment. 

DU LLB Counselling Process 2023

The university is conduct counselling for DU LLB qualified candidates in online as well as online mode as under: 

1. Publication of Allotment Lists

The university will publish THREE allotment lists. Only such candidates whose names are included in the allotment lists can participate in the counselling process. Note that the allotment lists would be category-specific.

The DU LLB admission lists will contain details like:

  • Name of the candidate
  • DU LLB 2023 Application Number and Roll Number
  • Name of the allotted college
  • Final DU LLB 2023 entrance exam marks
  • Combined Rank
  • Qualifying marks (or Grade)
  • Choice 
  • Category (General, SC, ST, etc.)

2. Apply for admission

Candidates who have been allotted seats in the admission lists need to apply for admission; to apply follow the link given above on this page. 

To apply for counselling and admission, log in to the portal using your registered email ID and applicant password.

3. Document verification:

Candidates have to carry the below-mentioned documents in original as well as their two photocopies:

  1. DU LLB admit card
  2. DU LLB application form (copy of the submitted form)
  3. Class 10 certificate as a proof of Date of Birth
  4. Class 12 mark sheet and certificates
  5. Qualifying degree mark sheet and certificate (provisional certificate if available)
  6. Reserved category certificate for SC/ ST/ EWS/ OBC (non-creamy layer)/ CW as issued by competent authority 
  7. Medical and PWD certificate for physically disabled candidates
  8. Passport size photographs (8 nos., recent and coloured)
  9. Printout of the original counselling registration form
  10. Anti-ragging affidavit
  11. Undertaking against sexual harassment
  12. One valid identity proof including Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Ration Card, Driver License etc.

4. Payment of fees:

Post successful verification of documents, the candidate has to pay the admission fee to confirm their seats.

The counselling process of DU LL.B. 2023 admissions will begin only after results of CUET-PG 2023 are declared. The Delhi University Admission committee will prepare a merit list on the basis of CUET-PG 2023 scores for candidates who appeared for LL.B. Paper. Therefore, the counselling process of DU LL.B. 2023 will be as under: Publishing of category-wise admission-cum-merit list, which is a preliminary list of candidates shortlisted for admission process. Candidates shortlisted in the merit list will have to register for DU LL.B. 2023 counselling process at du. AC. In. DU LL.B. Total seat intake for the three-year law programme is 2,888 seats combined for three campuses of Delhi University I. e. Campus Law Centre, Law Centre - I, and Law Centre - II. In addition to this 432 supernumerary seats for NRI, OCI, and foreign nationals, PWD, and can categories will be available. The campus-wise seat intake for DU LL.B. Course is as under: Campus Law Centre, DU has a total seat intake of 1,156 of which 390 seats are for Unreserved, 260 seats are for OBC category, 145 seats are for SC category, 72 seats are for ST category, 96 seats are reserved for EWS category, and remaining seats are under supernumerary category including PWD, FN and CW candidates. Similarly, Law Centre I has total seats 1,154 of which 390 seats are for Unreserved, 260 seats are for OBC category, 144 seats are for SC category, 72 seats are for ST category, 96 seats are reserved for EWS category, and remaining seats are under supernumerary category including PWD, FN and CW candidates. Candidates whose names are included in the admission-cum-merit lists are eligible to participate in the DU LL.B. 2023 counselling process. The candidates who will appear in the CUET-PG 2023 for Delhi University's three-year LL.B. Course, will be shortlisted for admissions. The university will prepare a category-wise merit list of candidates who have secured cutoff marks and are fulfilling the eligibility criteria for the law course. Note: Delhi University will release THREE merit lists; this means one merit list for each of the three seat-allotment rounds. In case there are vacant seats left after the three rounds, additional counselling rounds may be added.
