    A:

Computer Science Engineering (CSE): This field is in line with the growth of technology, with a high demand for graduates with strong programming skills and knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI and machine learning. UEM Kolkata offers knowledge like Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning or Internet of Things & Cyber ??Security in CSE, making its graduates more competitive.

Electrical Engineering (EE): This is another well-established branch with a wide range of career opportunities in power generation, transmission, distribution, automation and electrical equipment manufacturing though it may not be as rigorous as CSE or ECE in the current tech-centric environment though, that’s still a solid option.

    Uem Jaipur-my journey till now.
Placements: Roles like tech and non-tech are available on campus. Some companies conduct 3-4 rounds of interviews for tech profiles, which also include coding rounds. Many students opt for studies abroad after passing out. The average package is 5 LPA, with the top being 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. I really like my hostel; the rooms are spacious, with privacy for both 2-seater and 3-seater options. It is indeed one of the best hostels. Also, individual fans are provided for all. There are good labs with all facilities available, and Wi-Fi is also accessible.
Faculty: When you are enrolled, a mentor is assigned to you. You can ask them your queries. There is 1 mentor for every 8-10 students. You can share your concerns with them. Many teachers stay on campus, which helps you to communicate with them easily. Semester exams are manageable; study well before the exams.

    Reviewing UEM.
Placements: Average package is 3-4 LPA, people will tell in double digits and all, but in campus is between 3-4 LPA. , also few offers goes till 6.5-7 LPA, many students opt for higher studies like MBA, or goes to foreign as well. Companies like kreeti, aaklan visit campus.
Infrastructure: Food is not that good, like sometimes its hygienic as well, but there are many options available, also labs are good with AC and projector, well-equipped. Library is open all night, you can study well peaceful without any disturbances, sports is also there.
Faculty: Semester exams are not that much difficult, study before exams, take help from class crores and you can score good marks easily. Teachers stay in campus only, you can ask doubts easily and seek help from them, course curriculum is well designed and helpful for gov exams.

Title - A mix bag Oppurtunities and challenges
Placements: Around 75 to 80% students were placed in CSE branch(depending upon the efforts made by placement cell). Highest package is 72 LPA, lowest package varies from 2-3LPA, average for CSE is around 3 to 5 LPA. Top Recruiting company are basically the mass recruiter type companies like TCS, INFOSYS and small companies which take 3t o 4 students. Less internship opportunities are there and if any student take internship by his own then they do not provide NOC.
Infrastructure: Campus is 100% wifi covered but the speed is around 2to3 Mbps. Good and big library is opened until 2 to 3am. Poor labs with very less and dusty equipment feels like they are using it for more then a decade(except computer labs). If you are vegetarian don't prefer to come here because you gonna struggle a lot because of only non veg mess and costly and expensive canteen. Good clean hostel with average wifi and good dispensary is there. Good sports opportunities like 2 basketball court, 2 badminton court, 1cricket ground, 2 volleyball court,1 football ground. Average campus size 34acer (maximum barren land) situated 30km from Jaipur but connectivity. Less diversity as maximum students are from West Bengal.
Faculty: Maximum Bengali teacher are there and some are very helpful but some are worst. Maximum are non PhD and even Mtech 1st year student also teach here as a faculty. Students must have to do hard work to make standout in the college as the curriculum is outdated but they provide free subscription for many good courses for Udemy and Coursera. Decent amount of hackathons also organizes in the campus (5 to 6 per year). Average difficulty of exams are there as 90 to 95 % students pass.
Other: Good amount of fest, 4-5 per year are held. Non diverse crowd (maximum students from West Bengal) is there. The college is 30km from Jaipur city and Jaipur airport is 35km. Jaipur railway station is around 30km. 8to12% students get scholarships depending upon marks in 12th grade. Sports fest and tech fest also happens here.

About my own college UEM Jaipur.
Placements: The percentage of students placed varies between 60-70 percent. Most companies recruit for tech profiles like ASE, SDE, and cloud, but there are non-tech profiles as well. However, to crack dream packages, you will have to put in your own effort. The highest on-campus package varies between 6-7 LPA, with the average being 3-4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is good with a good amount of speed and stability. The mess food is also decent, but the best part is the hostel rooms and the library. The library is open 24/7 with a good number of books and is a good place to study. There are also sports like cricket and football.
Faculty: The faculty are good. You will have a mentor allotted to you, whom you can ask anytime you face an issue. Semester exams are not that tough; you can score well by studying days before the exam and by collecting notes and references. The course curriculum is designed well.

    Good college- UEM Jaipur .
Placements: There are various roles like sales, teaching, and support roles offered during placements. If you want to grab a dream job, definitely you have to go off campus and crack them. The average package is around 3.5 LPA, and the highest goes till 6.5-7 LPA. No such paid internships are available on campus.
Infrastructure: Hostel life is quite fun with various sports facilities like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, carrom, table tennis. Also, the annual fest is quite awesome here. Medical facilities are there. Food is average, like there are many options, but it’s okay.
Faculty: Exams are not that tough. You can score good marks if you attend normal classes and focus on previous year questions, as many questions are repeated from those. The curriculum is well-rounded, covering subjects such as data science, AIML, and specialization in data processing for government examinations. Additionally, NPTEL exams are also available.

    Review about UEM, Jaipur.
Placements: Most of the companies are sales and only a few technology-based companies like Kreeti Technologies visit here, but their joining process is delayed. Also, 3 LPA is the average package and the highest is 6 LPA, whereas the lowest is around 2 LPA. Mostly sales companies come for placements and the major city offered is Bangalore.
Infrastructure: Hostel food is very poor, very unhygienic and bad food is supplied. On complaining, no strict action is taken against them. Wi-Fi is good with a decent internet connection. A canteen is there as well. Games are not much developed here but sports fests are organized.
Faculty: Some teachers have great knowledge with a good amount of research experience, while many old teachers have left the college for better opportunities. The course is good for preparing for government exams but it is not oriented towards placements. Semester exams are very easy and they can be passed by studying for 4-5 days.

    A:
    • Decent Average Package (Limited Source): Some sources suggest an average salary package ranging from INR 5,00,000 to 6,00,000 per annum for B.Tech Mechanical Engineering graduates at UEM Kolkata. However, remember this information might not be the most recent.

UEM Jaipur - Good for B.E./B.Tech?

Here's a summary of the key points:

    Pros:
    * Experienced faculty with a mix of Ph.D.s and industry experts
    * Industry-oriented curriculum with hands-on training
    * Decent placements with an average package of INR4-INR5 LPA
    * Wi-Fi availability across the campus
    * Well-maintained libraries and laboratories
    * Comfortable hostel facilities with good food options
    * 100% placement record with top recruiters

    Cons:
    * Limited infrastructure and outdated equipment in some areas
    * Poor hostel food quality and hygiene issues reported by some students
    * Limited internships and off-campus recruitment opportunities
    * Some students felt that the course focus is more on government exams rather than industry readiness

    Overall:
While UEM Jaipur may not excel in all aspects, it seems to have its strengths in terms of faculty expertise, curriculum relevance, and placement records. However, there are areas that require improvement, such as infrastructure maintenance and catering services.
