Jammu University MBA is a two-year full-time Master's Degree programme in Business Administration (MBA). Jammu University MBA Admission 2024: How to Apply?

Jammu University Application process 2024 is completely online. It is mandatory for every candidate to fill out the online application form to complete the admission process. Candidates are also required to apply on the link of The Business School which is available on the University Website: www.tbsju.in. Also, students are informed that they can submit a single application form for Jammu University admissions only. Aspirants can pay the application fee only through Jammu & Kashmir Bank Challan.

Step 1: Jammu University MBA Application form

Candidates are required to visit the official website to register. Once the registration is completed, candidates must fill the online application form by submitting all teh documents with the application fees.

Step 2: Shortlisting

Candidates application forms will be shortlisted for further admission process. Students are selected based on their qualification. For MBA programme, candidates must have appeared in any one of the entrance exam: CAT/AIMA-MAT. Furtherm they must also qualify the MBS eligbility criteria before applying.

Step 3: Interview

Group Discussion and Personal lnterview to be conducted by the Admission Committee duly constituted and approved by the University of Jammu. University of Jammu uses CAT/MAT score for short-listing the candidates for Post-Graduate Programme in Management (MBA).

Step 4: Seat Finalisation

Once the interview is done, candidates will be called for the final admission process where candidates must pay the programme-specific admission/tuition fee and finalize their seats in the University.

Satisfied with the course and placements.

Placements: Till now 30% of my batchmates are placed. The highest package is 4-6lakh and generally the sales role is offered to students. As per internship ,100% students got internship opportunity. The top recruiting companies are icici pry, Aditya Birla, planet park.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility, library, and labs are fully furnished. The hostel facility is not there in the campus but it is necessary as many students came from far areas and from other cities too. So the hostel is required in the campus. Overall I'm satisfied with the facilities provided by the campus.

Faculty: Faculty is very helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant but there should be more focus towards providing practical knowledge in order to make students industry ready. The semester exams are not much difficult as the pass percentage is 40%.

Other: There should be more industrial exposure for the students for practical knowledge.

As an MBA graduate, the overall experience obtained during this programme was good.

Placements: 60% of the students were placed in this course. The highest package offered was 7 LPA and the lowest package was 2.5 LPA with an average package of 4 LPA. Top recruiters includeICICI Prudential, HDFC Bank etc. 100% students got internships during the programme from Reliance, ITC, Uflex, Airtel etc. Sales Manager and Business Developer are the top jobs offered.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are good having Wi-Fi, Labs, classrooms, library and the infrastructure. No hostel facilities are available here. But the canteen, medical facilities and other curricular activities are good. The campus provides all the facilities and an open ground to look for opportunities.

Faculty: The faculty is Ph.D. qualified and also very helpful. They not teach but also help clear of all our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant which not only focuses on theoretical knowledge but also nourishes the students in every possible way to help us cope with real time situations. The examination level lies between moderate to high. 40% is the passing percentage.

Other: MBA Course helped me gain all the business knowledge and it also taught the importance and basics of management required. To have more experiential learning, Alumni Interactions and industrial visits are conducted.

Quite dissatisfied with the placements till now, but the infrastructure and facilities are good.

Placements: There are a total of 60 students, from which only 15 are getting placements, which is not very good and quite low for the rest of the batch. The highest package is 8-10 LPA and the average package is 3-4 LPA, which cannot be called good enough for a candidate with an MBA degree.

Infrastructure: The Department of the Business School has in-built labs, e-classrooms, as well as a library. A Wi-Fi connection has been established this year, but most of the signals are jammed and various sites are banned. There is no hostel attached to the department, but there are a few attached to the university.

Faculty: The faculty of the Business School is qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the quality of teaching is also great if only a person is interested in it. There are various subjects in the course to be studied. While the semesters are not too difficult nor easy, if you have studied well, you will manage.

Placements: 100% placement is there in the college. Different companies come to the college for the placement and everyone is provided with the equal opportunity and fair chances. Different prgan like Visvero, ICICI prudential, Aditya Birla comes to the college for the placeme and students are placed with the great packages that is of 6.5 LPA,4LPA and many more.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, Labs, library and other facilities are also available for the students. Classrooms are well maintained and teachers use the Power BI in the classes. There is no facility of hostel and mess but canteen is there with great and hygiene food. They have availability of nescafe in the campus.

Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and well knowledgeable. They use the power BI to teach in the classes. Teachers are helpful here whenever you need them. The course curriculum is totally line with the course which help us in theoretical as well as practical knowledge.

Other: MBA helped me to gain the knowledge that how the industry works and what kind of knowledge and skills are required in the industry to work in. This programme should more focused on the practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. They have time to time different events, competitions and fest in the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is all good like having a projectors in all the class, wifi facility, labs, smart class, etc. The facility given by college regarding additional course outcomes are really outstanding. The canteen and co-curricular facility is all good by the college as well

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified in their core and have quality knowledge about the regarding subject. The teachers provide relevant knowledge as per the current real-time situations. The industry visit also enhances our Knowledge regarding the actual and theoretical work. The exams are overall not so difficult and the passing percentage are also remains more than 70%

Other: I had choose the MBA course to boost up my marketing, analytical, inter-personal skills. I think the college shoud improve its placements facility and should provide better course outcome to the students.
