Placements: As it is a government college so the seats are less and limited. Total 300 seats are available in all the streams. Who so ever clears the exam gets a seat here. The package offered here are very good and the value of the package is high. Only the deserving students get internship crossing the percentage of 80 per cent.

Placements: Placements of mechanical is less and when it comes to packages they are also low. But our training and placements cell committee is really making efforts to get us well placed in terms of quality of job and packages. Last year a company arrived and took students of mechanical too in design Field.

Placements: The placements are not that awesome in this university as it is a government University. Only 10-15% companies of North India are coming over there. But still, I consider it as a good University overall as it provides different courses within the campus.

Top companies like Jaro, Tech Mahindra, NIIT, Capgemini, and Wipro visit our campus for recruitment. Software developers and BDO officers are the roles offered in our courses. The college provides good opportunities.

Placements: The college provides every opportunity to a student to get placed in an industry. The annual package is around 4lpa. The college tries it's level best to get every student placed. Around 50 % of students are placed and the placement procedure is still going.

Placements: Our college always invites various companies and organises placement drives. The highest salary package offered in this year was 12 LPA to a computer science engineering student. The average salary package offered would be around 5 LPA.

Placements: More than 40% of the students are placed from our batch. The package was around six Lacs to maximum twelve Lacs per annum for the students. Some top recruiting companies that offered jobs for our course are BYJU's, Jaro, Planet spark etc. The roles offered are BDC, Programmer Executive.

Placements: College provides a good guidance for placements and are helpful to get into the joint placements. They provide us with various interview sessions and smart training to tackle aptitudes and interview. They provide with other project guidance also to showcase a better competitor.

Placements: Currently, 30 students got placed in our college. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. Cognizant was the top recruiting company of our college. Jaro education, Capgemini, etc., also visited our campus for recruitment. Business Analyst, BDC, etc., were the job roles offered in our course.

Placements: Placement is average at GCET Jammu. Average package is 2.0 Lacs per annum and the highest or moderate package us 4.5lakh per annum. The companies that came for placements were Wipro, pie infotech, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, byju's etc. CSE and ECE are major placement holders for the campus.

Placements: My batch is 2011-2015, and my course in Mechanical Engineering. In my class, there are 50 students, and none of the students got placed because all have made up their mind to go to higher studies or for banking exams. Placements: 90-95 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest salary were offered was 8.5LPA to 10LPA and the lowest salary package were offered was 3.2LPA and average salary package were offered was 3.5 LPA to 5.5 LPA. Byju's, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Practo, Itechnic.

Placements: About 25% of students in our course got placed. I don't know about the salary package offered to students. I have no idea about the top recruiting companies that visited our campus. Top roles offered are system analyst, software engineer, and software developer, etc. I don't know about the salary package offered to students in our course. About 25% of students got an internship from our course, and I don't know the names of the companies.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Companies within Jammu and also outside Jammu visited the college during our placements. There are much better career opportunities. Teachers guide the students to have a better future. Salary packages offered to our batch were good as freshers.

Placements: The college provides sufficient placements. Various reputed companies like HCL, Hyundai, SBI, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, etc., visited the campus for placements. Roles like executives, managers, HR, accountants were offered. Most of them got selected for their jobs. Our university also has a placement cell which acts as a mediator between the students and the organisations. Placements: In 2017, multinational companies like Amazon and Infineon Technologies visited the campus and recruited many students. The annual salary packages offered are awesome. Some startup companies also visited our campus and selected many talented students. I am one of the students who got placed in that placement drive. Almost 30-40% of the students from our batch were placed.
