MBSCET is the best college.

Placements: The college is very good for engineering students. It provides the best training for students to get placed through campus placements. Proper guidance is provided to the students, and the training sessions are conducted from time to time, to increase the capability of the students.

It is a very good college, and students get a chance to nurture their potential.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Reputed MNCs visit the college for placements. Students get a chance to get placed and also to explore the companies. The placement head of our college works very hard so that the students can show their potential.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Very few placements are offered in Jammu region as it lacks industries. Getting good marks in Jammu University is tough because the evaluation is strict. A few students got their degree on time and employed early. The placements are offered to those students who have good percentage in their graduation.

University of Jammu, has good computer science department and IT.

Placements: There are not a lot of placements. I don't know when was the last time that the department of computer science arranged a placement drive inside the campus. I have seen two batches passing out one in 2016, other in 2017 but no placement drive was conducted for them inside the campus. They are sent to distant locations for interviews in companies like Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Bangalore, etc. The students go there at their own expense, and department bears nothing. Students are well placed, an...

The college is awesome and loved to be a part of this college.

Placements: Among all the colleges under Jammu University, MIET, Jammu has the best placement cell as well as links. Big thanks to director of MIET, Dr Ankur Gupta. Every year, many companies come there for campus placements, and the students are having potential get easily selected with good packages. Our batch also got great placement opportunities. Though I was not placed, but many of my classmates got placed in good companies like CGI, Infineon Technologies, Amazon, etc., at good packages. Even six of m...

Best department of Jammu university.

Placements: The college provides an average placement which seems extraordinary if you compare it with the fee they take for the course. And they also have extraordinary faculty members, but when you compare them with the other colleges in the North, then you can say that their placement is average. Also, they have their alumni who are spread all around the globe, so their placements are developing rapidly.

Our college is the best college in Jammu region.

Placements: Our college students are well-settled in different jobs. Some became munsifs, some got qualified in civil services, and some others are practising in the high court and district courts. It is said that hard work pays in the long run so we should work hard and nothing is impossible in life.

Satisfied with faculty. Good placement in 2017. The infrastructure is pretty good.

Placements: The placements were quite nice as one can say I am no one to judge my seniors, where they have seen much more than me. Furthermore, it's up to oneself if he gets the placement or not because college can educate us but it up to us whether we get the placement or not.

The best teaching institution with great minds that help the new buds to develop in the right way.

Placements: I am still studying. Hope to get placed. But, as learning from seniors, the placements are really good and as well said that "deserved student make their way". Companies visit for placements, and students get a lot of chances to show their knowledge and dedication to work.

The college is the best in Jammu & Kashmir, but it has to improve the placements.

Placements: The placements on the campus are not good. Only, 25 to 30 students overall got placed from a 2013-2017 batch, and less than these numbers got placed in the previous years. Only 3 to 4 companies visited the campus last year. The placement and a training wing is too weak. They can improve so that the students can make themselves get hired off-campus as well.

MIET is a premier technical institute in the state of Jammu & Kashmir.

Placements: The institute provides ample amount of placement as well as internship opportunities to students. MIET has signed international MOU with the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and the USA where my two colleagues Adhirath Kapoor and Nitin Bhandari are already pursuing their masters in fields like networking and database management system. Most of our seniors got placed in companies like Google, etc.

This college is best for CSE branch students who want to make a future in that field.

Placements: Very good in placement in the recent years. I've seen my seniors getting selected for various companies like Google, Flipkart, ICICI Prudential. I've also seen our faculty members help the students to develop their knowledge. There are various activities for a student to develop his/her knowledge about the branch.

Placements: MIET has the best placements in Jammu & Kashmir. Last year, the package was quite good (4.75 lakh per annum). Wipro, Tata, Vodafone, Videocon, etc. were there for campus placement. It was a long 3-day placement drive. The students came with full preparation and confidence.
