I am satisfied with the faculty and placement head of the college.
Placements: We had good placements from reputed companies. Placements taking place on our college campus are very good, and reputation of the college is strong among top companies. There is no need to worry about placements in our college. We have 100% placement in our college.
Infrastructure: We have good hostel facilities. The infrastructure of the hostel is very good, where two students can live comfortably and happily.
Faculty: Teaching and non-teaching staff are very friendly with students. We have a well-being authority among the staff who has taught us many things beyond academic education. The board of directors of the college is very friendly and interactive with students.

Philomena was a very wide campus, neat and clean.
Placements: Some of the startup companies arrived at college for providing students with internships. They selected students, but there was no stipend. They hired on the basis of their criteria, like percentage and the skill set required. Campus interviews were undertaken very rarely, and some students got selected in campus interviews.
Infrastructure: Along with studies, co-curriculum activities were conducted. Talents day and annual college day were the best celebrations. In the talents day programme, we had to show our hidden talents, which was very fun. And speaking of the library, it was also loaded with lots of different modes of book collection. Throw ball, volleyball, kabaddi, and many other sports were conducted during sports day.
Faculty: There are too few facilities in the department. But the ones who are present give us enough good resources for studying. The problem is with the time they provide between unit test papers, meaning they conduct two papers per day and give hardly an hour between two papers.

B.Sc. (Psychology, Rehabilitation Science, Sociology) - Batch of 2025
Offered by St. Anne's Degree College for Women

Average satisfaction because of faculty, placement, internships and good infrastructure.
Placements: Placement is not good in the B.Sc. rehabilitation science, psychology, and sociology department; according to my knowledge, there is 0 placement, but other departments like B.Com. and BCA have average placement. Students from abroad join our college too; it's really a good opportunity to explore and learn a lot.
Infrastructure: Honesty, I wish I could give 0 stars. There are CCTV's everywhere, and the library has course books and novels that are very useful. Other than that, nothing is good about this college. I've been to the lab only in the 1st year; after that, they don't take us to the lab, and practical exposure is very poor. There is NO HOSTEL, and the canteen is affordable, and timings have to be followed. The quality of the food is above average. One very good quality of this college is they help students who need help with the midday meal program (school block as well as college block).
Faculty: It depends on the individual lecturers; some are really good and some just take class for the sake of taking class; no proper internship for psychology; for rehabilitation science, an industrial visit; and 2 internships are provided. Semester exams are quite easy; the pass percentage in our department is around 95-97%. If you are a person who totally depends on faculty, then this college isn't for you. Self-study plays an important role in any college.
Other: This course is one of the best courses that has scope abroad as well as in India. This course teaches various aspects of human mind and body; this is a very necessary course for future India. Campus life was amazing; we have many festivals and intercollegiate competitions and sports meets, awareness programs, inclusive education, and lots of volunteer work that is truly enjoyed by students and facilities. The other departments have the best teachers, placements, and internships. As our department is a growing field right now, placement and internship opportunities are a bit less.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2027

It is the best college to join because of cultural activities, sports, and studies.
Placements: Around 90 students got placed in the B.Com course. B.Com has the lowest fee structure around Rs. 46,000 - Rs. 55,000. The BCA course fee is Rs. 70,000. It is costly. American companies recruit students abroad. Our college offers courses like B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.A, B.Voc, B.Sc. in forensic science, and others.
Infrastructure: In our college, there are more than 20 departments. Our college has one of the ancient libraries with a lot of book collections. Classrooms have projectors. The food quality is always good. We have a medical checkup once a year. Our college provides more importance on sports.
Faculty: Teachers are the best guides in the college. They behave in a friendly manner. They make students industry-ready. The passing percentage is more than 80% all the time. Semester exams are not very difficult. The campus is mind-blowing. We have the best professors in the college.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2027
Offered by NIT Surathkal - National Institute of Technology
4.2
4Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
One of my best choosen in life.
Placements: The average salary package for mechanical engineering offered was 13 LPA. Around 88% of the students whofor the placement exams from my branch got placed. The highest packageffe was 35 LPA, whereas the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Ford Motors, Texas Instruments, Bajaj Auto, Amazon, and Flipkart. The top internship recruiters were AT&S India, AbInbev, and Aequs Group. Top role offered is Project Manager.
Infrastructure: NITK Surathkal has excellent infrastructure and facilities. The labs in the mechanical department are up-to-date and technologically advanced. Wi-Fi is available in every corner of the department. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and blackboards. The department even has a 3D printer. There are two libraries, one where digital books are available and one where normal books are available. Both the libraries are equipped with centralised air conditioning and are open till 12:00 Pm. For the second year, the hostel is Shivalik. It is a modern, sleek building equipped with the best technologies. Rooms are clean and well-painted. Washrooms are neat and cleaned regularly. The quality of food available in the mess is excellent. Canteens are also good. There is a 24/7 healthcare center available inside the campus. There are around five major canteens and a few cafes inside the campus. The sports facilities available are one of the best in India. We have a big sports complex equipped with the best equipment for each sport.
Faculty: Teachers are all high achieving in their respective fields with PhD from some of the best institutes like IITs. They have good teaching abilities and are approachable in terms of both academic as well as co-curricular activities. The course is relevant in the industry sense. It teaches the necessary skills that a mechanical engineer needs to have to prosper, such as the required software and hardware usage skills. The curriculum even covers humanities and language skills to make the students industry-ready. The exams are moderately hard and the evaluation is continuous. The pass percentage is around 90% of the students.
Other: I was very much interested in mechanical engineering and NITK Surathkal was my best option in terms of my JEE Main rank. The best thing about the course is how well-crafted it is. Every subject being taught is relevant in the industry sense. One thing I would improve about the course is to provide more labs for specific applications like automobiles and similar. The annual cultural fest, Incident, is one of India's biggest. It welcomes a huge footfall every year and has a variety of events for students to participate in and watch.

Okay college, teachers are good, infrastructure is also good.
Placements: Mostly everyone is placed, but the issue is that everyone is placed in retail shops, not as assistant designers or designers. I think only one good company is there. Internships are not provided; we have to search for everything. But everyone will do an internship.
Infrastructure: I don't have anything to say. The infrastructure is good, the teachers are good, but Wi-Fi is not proper. We don't have a hostel; everyone stays in PG or flats, which cost extra money. The labs are good, the classrooms are good, and the library is good. Personally, this college is so boring.
Faculty: Teachers are good but very strict, which makes us scared to ask doubts. This year, they have improved. Semesters are not difficult, but they are not giving time to complete assignments. I don't know much about this. I don't have anything to say.
Other: No, I chose this course because I saw it on Google, and it was my bad choice. The best thing is enjoyment.
