Q:   What should be the score in CAT exam to get admission in University of Hyderabad for pursuing MBA?

    A:
To get admission to the University of Hyderabad's MBA programme, you need to have a valid score in the Common Admission Test CAT conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (Iims). However, the CAT score is only one of the many factors that are considered during the admission process. The university also takes into account your academic background, work experience (if any), and performance in the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. There is no fixed minimum CAT score required for admission to the University of Hyderabad's MBA programme, as the cutoff varies each year based on various factors such as the number of applicants, their CAT scores, and the seats available. Generally, a CAT score of around 80 percentile or above would be considered competitive for admission to the University of Hyderabad's MBA programme. However, this is only a rough estimate, and the actual cutoff may be higher or lower depending on the factors mentioned earlier. It is essential to note that while a good CAT score can increase your chances of getting admission, it is not the only deciding factor. Therefore, it is essential to prepare thoroughly for the GD and PI rounds and have an impressive academic and professional profile to increase your chances of securing a seat in the University of Hyderabad's MBA programme.

Good infrastructure facilities, good placements, less fees and gave me a lot of good friends.
Placements: It was a fabulous opportunity to study in this University. The placements here is good, like more than 70 percent of the students are placed in different companies. The salary package is also attractive. Mostly the high paid jobs are from analytics specialisation.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure and other facilities are good. Our University has the biggest library and there is Wi-Fi all over the university. We have all kinds of facilities like mess, canteen, sports, games and medical facilities. The medical facilities are free here.
Faculty: All the teachers and other faculty members are very helpful and they are highly qualified and are knowledgeable. They teach us in a good way and it will help us to gain more knowledge about the curriculum as well as the business world. The semester exams help us to recollect what we learnt in the whole semester.
Other: Basically I would like to learn more things about the business world. There are many events, fests and other kind of programs in the University.

Really good infrastructure and the best place to study.
Placements: During this pandemic, healthcare is playing a major role worldwide. It is obvious they would be paid according to the role assigned. It is on the capacity of the student to earn a good job. After getting into a job one might get the best role after working hard in the previous one.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and university has many places to explore. You will find huge diversity here. Not only people across India join this university also you may find people from various countries. One would surely find peace within nature.
Faculty: The professors we have at our university are best, they meet the students' need in marvellous manner. It is like teamwork where every one interacts with each other no matter what. Student and teacher communication and relationship is good. You can undertake any project or work under the assistantance of professors.
Other: One of the best Universities in India I must say. We are gaining more practical knowledge.

Placements: Arround 23% students get the campus placements from the college. University of Hyderabad is the best option among all Central Universities but School of Management Studies for MBA Business Analytics is lacking somewhere. Placement records for particularly from Business Analytics is not much impressive because of many reasons. Lacking of practical knowledge or other also.
Infrastructure: Course curriculum is very good. It makes you industry ready for entering the corporate world. Subjects like - Text analytics, Predictive analytics, Business Economic and others are very useful subjects.Hostel facilities are very good in University of Hyderabad. But if you are coming from North India then you will face a challenge for mess food.
Faculty: Faculty are well qualified but the college is dependent for guest faculty for some main analytics subjects. Course distribution semester wise is not justified. 1st , 2nd and 3rd semester there are 10 or 11 subjects but in final semester there is only 1 .
Other: No one in the college is interested in the placements of Business Analytics students.

Great campus life, value for money.
Placements: The placements of the department are impressive. The students are placed in the 3rd semester. They are into all management level posts. Average package is around 5-8lpa. All the students get placed in top companies of the present time. Recruiting companies vary from hospitals, health care consultancies, pharma companies, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. The departments are equipped with all modern facilities like Wi-Fi, seminar hall, projectors. The department also has a auditorium for conducting conferences and functions. Hostels are adequate for all the students. Mess food is average. Medical facilities are available within the campus.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable and have prior industry experience. The quality of teaching is high. Course curriculum is relevant, but there is still a scope of including other subjects important from industry perspective. Internships and project work makes the students industry ready and bridge the gap.

Great campus with best faculty .
Placements: 100% placement with not so attractive packages only a normal or average packages and having great way of learning from senior and also the role is good, there are some good recruiters but need to attached with the great healthcare organisation so that we have great opportunities or packages .
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure is good that help us a lot that gives support to doing task in a very limited time using various sources like Wi-Fi, labs, library etc. And when we talk about hostel facility is better than what they charge and mess experience is the worst and bad in taste.
Faculty: Best faculty with experience that help us not only to understand the concept but also they gives practical view so that it definitely grow our learning knowledge also the ability to understand the real problem that help to solve in a great way by having deep knowledge and also course curriculum also good not best.

The campus is lively and full of energy.
Placements: Placements are 100% for healthcare students. The average salary package offered ranges from 4-5 LPA. Mainly the top hospitals are our recruiters, and other healthcare company also recruit students from our college. We have two internships, one is summer internship and second is in our last semester.
Infrastructure: The college has all the facilities with the modern classroom. The library is one of the biggest in India with offline as well as online material to study. Wi-Fi is available everywhere in the whole campus with good speed. They provide a health centre, sports facilities, and different canteens on the campus. Food available in the mess and canteen is of average quality.
Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching methodology is good but a bit old according to recent times, and they don't use case studies in teaching. But I think healthcare stream course curriculum is relevant to make the students' industry-ready. Curriculum also includes hospital visits for students for better understanding.
Other: The campus is very lively and is very diversified in nature, and the crowd is good. Students will find new people every day from different background and places. Many fests and events are organised during the year, and scholarships are available for meritious students.
