ULSAT Counselling is conducted online after the release of the ULSAT result. The ULSAT counselling process 2025 includes Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). Candidates have to be present for ULSAT counselling as per the schedule only.
Candidates opting for the non-examination pathway i.e. on basis of CLAT scores or Class 12th merit scores are directly called for GD and PI rounds. Candidates are required to carry all the required documents at the time of ULSAT 2025 counselling. To know all details regarding ULSAT counselling, read below.
ULSAT Counselling Process 2025
Candidates seeking admissions to School of Legal Studies, UPES on the basis of ULSAT scores/ CLAT scores or Class 12th merit will have to visit the counselling venue as per their call letter and participate in the following rounds:
Group Discussion – All the selected candidates are called for GD first and then a topic is given to a group of 6-8 people. Candidates will have to speak in favour or against the topic allotted. The jury present will be awarding marks to candidates individually only.
Personal Interview – After GD, candidates will be called for Personal Interview where candidates are assessed based on their knowledge regarding the law course.
Document Verification – The process of document verification is carried out along with Personal Interview. Here, the examination authority verifies the documents submitted by candidates.

Documents required for ULSAT Counselling 2025
While appearing for the counselling, candidates need to carry the following documents –
- ULSAT admit card 2025/ CLAT admit card (if available)
- ULSAT 2025 application form as submitted
- Character certificate
- Marksheet of class 10th and 12th
- Pass certificate of class 10th and 12th
- Migration certificate
- Identity proof (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID card, passport or school ID card)
- Medical Fitness certificate
