The INs and OUTs of USTM.

Placements: Our course did not provide us with placement opportunities as it strictly adhered to a coaching environment, with the main goal of the course being the competitive examinations, namely UPSC. The course also did not encourage internships as it would take away the focus on academics and self-reading time for the students.

The thing I like about the college is the faculty members as they are very good at teaching.

Placements: There are internships available in our college. A company like Candela Technologies provides internships to students based on networking. We did not get any stipend but if we do hard work and know about networking then we can get a stipend.

The thing I like about the college is our faculty members as they are very good at teaching.

Placements: Students are eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. Capgemini and Cummins visited our college for campus placements. The highest salary package offered by the company in campus placements is 7.5 LPA. Students need to score an 8.5 CGPA to get campus placements. Internships start in the 4th semester in our college. I am in the third semester, and I don't know much about it. According to our seniors, Microsoft offers internships at Google. To qualify for internships, students need to...

It is the best college with the best faculty members.

Placements: Around 75-85% of students get placed. Prominent German and Scottish corporations visited and interviewed students. The gold medallist has a good chance of winning this. The primary function of the biotechnology area is that it is a relatively new subject in India and not widely known, so it is a very beneficial one.

Good university for students who want to study hard. Many courses are available.

Placements: There was no option for placement in our course. We are on our own, whether to get a job or to study further. You can get placement on other courses but not in the course I applied to, as far as I remember. Not only our course but our department, i.e., applied biology, food science, zoology, etc. come into this department.

Good infrastructure and best faculties.

Placements: Unfortunately, there were no placement opportunities when I graduated. However, a few organizations visited the university during the year and offered opportunities to work for them on a regular basis. For example, Vishal Mega Mart. There are no top recruiting companies for our courses. Almost everyone in our batch got at least two internships at agency-based organizations such as the Indian Council for Child Development, CAREU 365, and the Sobriety Foundation.

The most amazing part of USTM is the faculty members; they are so lenient and free.

Placements: You have to look for the companies for internships by yourself. Or you can choose a short new research project to work upon in your last semester, and you can even publish your work in some good journals. Also, you can learn a new software to enhance your profile.

Great infrastructure but needs to improve the quality of education.

Placements: About 10-20% of my seniors were placed in my course. The rest either went for litigation or are preparing for competitive exams. Private firms offered an average package of 5 LPA. Bajaj, BHEL, and other Tier 2 and 3 firms recruit pass-out students. Almost all students get internships in various companies and under reputed advocates. The course I’m pursuing, which is BALLB (H), is a professional course and provides various roles to students.

Placements: 70-80% of students get a placement Top companies from Scotland and Germany came here and selected students by interview. And the gold medalist got the high chance for this. The top role of the field in biotechnology is that though it is a new course in India and not so many people are aware of it, it is a very valuable course .
