Yes, there is a seat reservation for the MSc course at VBU. The university folows the reservation rules of the Jharkhand state government framed for the purpose of admission. 5% seats will be reserved for NRI categories, but no caste reservation shall be applied to such category of candidates. In case candidates of a particular category are not available, the vacant seats will be treated as generai. 3% of the course seats are reserved for Girls, 2% for Dependent of Ex-Serviceman, etc. 

Vinoba Bhave University offers only 64 seats for its MSc students via its afiiliated college, i.e.,  Giridih College. To secure the seats candidates must have a valid qualification and score in the CUET-PG course. Further, there might be seat reservation for students belonging to certain categories. 

Vinoba Bhave University MA admission dates are inclusive of CUET-PG dates 2025. As per NTA, CUET PG 2025 exam dates announced on January 2, 2025, on the official website. The CUET PG 2025 exam will be conducted from March 13, 2025, to March 31, 2025, at centers across the nation and overseas. CUET PG application form 2025 has been released on February 2, 2025 at the official website. 

Vinoba Bhave University hasn't released any official in-house dates for MSc admission 2025. The PG cousre application usually begins in August and includes dates of application form fill-up, provisional merit lists, counseling and ccertificateverification, and admission form fill-up. The merit list for admission will be prepared based on the CUET-PG score and if seats remain vacant candidates without a CUET score will be considered for admission.

Vinoba Bhave University accepts JEE Main/JEECE for shortlisting students for final admission. Candidates must also qualify for Vinoba Bhave University BTech eligibility criteria as mentioned below:

Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 with 45% aggregate from a recognised board.

Vinoba Bhave University offers UG courses including BA, B.Sc. in multiple specializations as well as B.Ed, B.Com, BBA and BCA. A candidate having passed class 12^th with at least 50% marks in the related stream can apply for any of the bachelor’s courses, except for B.Ed. and LLB in which only a graduate can apply. The admission to UG courses is mainly done through merit list except for B.Ed. course for which the students are required to appear for an Entrance test.

Admission form will be available online/offline mode from 17th April 2023 to 31st May 2023.
Admission process will be held from 24th July to 31st July 2023.

Applications form may be obtained from the department by paying Rs. 1000/- (Rs. One
Thousand only) through Challan (available in the Dept.) between 10:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. The
duly filled in the application form must be submitted in the department on or before 31st May
2023.
