Absolutely dissatisfied because of facility and faculty.

Faculty: Some faculty are the worst; I don't know how they completed their Ph.D.s and got doctorates. Some faculty will not teach the concept, but they will teach what will come to the exam. Concepts are important, not marks; the college has to review and take care of this. Passing the semester is easy when you listen to classes properly.

Vel Teach University Review.

Faculty: The teachers were skilled and knowledgeable, but the teaching standards followed were not good. They focused only on theoretical knowledge, giving no credit to practical knowledge. They concentrated more on completing subjects rather than checking the understanding of students.

Average faculty support, good placements in 2021-22, and amazing infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: Some teachers are amazing and extremely knowledgeable in their particular fields. They are very helpful and friendly but some are there just for syllabus completion purposes. The teaching quality is good. The course makes students industry-ready. The difficulty of semester exams is average. The pass percentage is more than 90%.

Decent college with average placement.

Faculty: My goal was government jobs. The best thing is the variety of knowledge, including my specialisation. Improvement can be on the curriculum. They have a variety of clubs organizing events frequently. Once a year we have Fest Lavazza. I personally got a scholarship of 75 percent. We have sports tournaments in every event with an annual event.

A college really good in.

Faculty: So the faculty members in our college are really helpful with our projects and also make us understand the topics that they cover under the curriculum. Every faculty member is well-qualified and knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is really high-level. The curriculum is really relevant to the course, and it is helpful for us to become industry-ready. Semester exams are really easy because we get questions mostly from the things that were taught by the faculty.

Good placement with better facilities.

Faculty: The teachers for freshers are quite good and help students understand and improve their knowledge. The department staff also helps enhance students' knowledge with different activities and helps students individually to solve their problems.

Well-Rounded Experience: Excellent Infrastructure

Faculty: Faculty of our university are fully skilled and professional. Moreover, all have Ph.D. in their respective subjects. In this course, theory teaches all the basics on all subjects, which is more helpful in our daily life, and we don't need to depend on others. Semester exams are easy to pass.

Decent University with labs and faculty support.

Faculty: Yes, we have highly qualified teachers. They are specially friendly and understanding. They help with doubts and exams. The curriculum is a bit old since it follows government guidelines. But they go one step further to provide current situation knowledge. Exams are moderate, with almost everyone getting through them.

Quite good for an average student to get a better and secure future.

Faculty: Faculty are quite good, but there is a lot of discrimination between north and south students. They only cover the beginner level of your course/coding. Semester exams are good, and 95-98 percent of students got passing marks. Some students got Reappear (RA) due to low marks in internal or external. Sometimes students are facing difficulties due to faculty members behavior during exams.

Good review about my college .

Faculty: Vel Tech University generally has a reputation for qualified and knowledgeable teachers who are considered helpful to students, with a curriculum that is considered relevant and industry-ready; however, some mention that the difficulty of semester exams can vary depending on the course, and the pass percentage is generally considered average, with some students noting the need for self-study to fully prepare for the industry.

Good placements but less.

Faculty: The faculty is very strict; rules also have to be followed by the faculty and the institute. In exams, the pass percentage is 65%, and the faculty and staff are good. The campus life is good for students. For coming and going home, we have to take permission from the hostel warden.

Yes. Veltech High Tech was initially affiliated with the University of Madras. In 2001, the affiliation was shifted to Anna University. From 2008 onwards, it was recognized as a deemed-to-be university. However, Veltech High Tech is still affiliated with Anna University.
