Decent college with average placement.

Placements: We have multiple labs for every year, with Mac Lab having a Mac PC for developing, Computer lab with all equipment, etc. Larger equipment has different labs funded by various organizations, like ISERO, TCS, government programs, etc. We get chicken in every day dinner with separate north and south mess. There's a basketball, volleyball, and football ground. A well-furnished gym and food court are inside the hostel.

Infrastructure is okay but it needs to improve the facilities.

Placements: The packages start from 2.0 LPA. Recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Cisco, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Students should have basic knowledge of the domain and some good coding skills for good placements and internships. Overall, it is fine.

Vel Teach University Review.

Placements: 40% of the students were placed in our batch. The highest package was 17 LPA, which was not provided by the college but was from an off-campus opportunity with Cisco. The college offered only packages less than 7 LPA, and the average package was only 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS and HCL came to the college, but only 2-5% of students got internships. Top roles were software trainees.

Absolutely dissatisfied since it is not a value for money.

Placements: Not good placement occurs only in a few companies; they show up with only good placement but actually this does not show up on ground level; only some faculty are good; most are below average; and students who belong to the north are facing many difficulties.

Good infrastructure but placements are average.

Placements: 20% of the students got placed in the core department. The rest of them were placed in IT, which is not a core job for the aero department but it was good. Overall, the placements were better than at more colleges in Chennai for this price in 2018–2022, and if you are a bit on a budget, you can also apply for scholarships.

I am dissatisfied with the college, bad placements in 2021, and poor infrastructure.

Placements: For CSE, maximum of 90% of students get placed but the majority are with mass recruiters. The highest salary package offered in our course was 44 LPA (not on campus). The average salary package offered is 3 LPA - 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, HCL, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, and Accenture. For internships, nearly 50% would get placed. Top role offered is mainly systems engineer.

It is an average college. You can opt it if you have a low rank in the entrance exam.

Placements: Almost 80% of CSE students got placed. The highest salary package offered is around 7 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is around 2.1 LPA and the average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Most of the students got placed in TCS, Capgemini and Accenture. Almost 20% of the students got an internship with a stipend. The top role offered is a system engineer.

The college is good for sincere students and not for enjoying.

Placements: I can say that placements in the college are good for CSE. Placements depend on the marks you scored in exams because they give placements on the basis of marks. So, you have to work hard. The college is not in Chennai; it is at Avadi outer area, where nothing is available, and it's like jail. The hostels are not hygienic.

Veltech lacks in giving freedom to students so I think its not recommendable.

Placements: Talking about placements our college has most of its recruiters from computer Science department and for other branches like civil, mechanical, automobile and aeronautical, recruiters will be very less hardly 4 or 5 companies will be coming for campus placements. What I want to convey is that recruiters are searching for unique talents apart from their academic records so I just want students to maintain their uniqueness by having special courses, internships in top firms. Etc. Only then we can ...

If you study well, its good otherwise don't join here.

Placements: They will bring companies for placements but it's your responsibility to achieve it. Before 6 months, they teach us how the interview will be conducted and what type of questions would be asked but no one is interested about that and if you have more than 3 arrears, they neglect you.

The college has good infrastructure and in improving condition. The college is not worth the money.

Placements: In 2017, about 30% of the students got the placements. The industry stream has huge fees that result in no-surety of 100% placements. Initially, the placements were around 85-90% for our seniors. Later, they drastically came down. Companies for IC engine industry come for the placements. The placements are carried out in ARAI Pune division.

Infrastructure is very good. But faculty is knowledge full. Placement is also not good.

Placements: Placement is not so much good. Companies are coming but with very few seat like 5-6 candidate only. And package average range is 3lakh. This year maximum package was 7 lack from ECE department. Only one girl selected in musigma company. Last year not single senior placed from our college.

It's not a much good college for talented students.

Placements: The college is average, so there are no good placements. We need to work hard for those placements, and then the management provides good companies like Amazon, Intel, etc. There are some education courses, but they are limited, and no one is interest on that. Some are disappointed with their career.

I had a simple and beautiful experience in my college life.

Placements: The CSE and ECE students get good placements from my university. In the mechanical branch, only a few chances are provided. In my batch, 40% of the students got placements and 25% of our seniors. In my batch, 85% of the students got an internship with no stipend provided. The placement cell is present in our college. MNCs visit my campus.

Good college to hang on with a good school.

Placements: Our college offers minimum placements of 60% in each department. Our college will collaborate with various companies and we can also get jobs off-campus, so we can happily join in our college with no fear with the placement. We also get many jobs in various fields.

Satisfied with my college.

Placements: The placements in the college are good, but fewer number of students are getting placed on the campus placements. There should be an increase in bringing the companies to the campus. Very less number of core companies are visiting the college for placements. There should be an improvement in training the students for placements.

It is a nice college which is developing very fast.

Placements: The placements are nice. If you have attended the internships and concepts are clear then definitely you will be placed. Average package is around 3.5-4 LPA. The placements are there for CSE, IT, ECE department. Mechanical students are also placed.

Not a really good college. Bad infrastructure.

Placements: Coming to placements in our college, it's not good, and other facilities are good. Compared to every year, the placements are going well. Capgemini and Tata and other companies are coming for civil and mechanical branches, but it is not too good. It is good for CSE and ECE.

A better college with the scope of future.

Placements: The placements are better during 2017 compared to previous years, but it doesn't mean good. I hope with the work they are doing there, will hopefully increase their placements in upcoming years. Most of the jobs for ECE branch are better in the college, but for mechanical they are the worst. If you select ECE here, it is very tough as the faculty members are strict, and getting internals itself is tough here. Hope this information is useful for you.
