I'm satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements in our college are good enough. The average salary package offered by companies is 6-7 LPA, but the highest salary package has no limit as it depends on your potential. The college is a pool of opportunities. Students have high expectations which are mostly fulfilled by the institution.

The college is good and disciplined. Students can have a good campus and hostel life.

Placements: Placements are quite good for our senior batches as they are offered decent packages. The highest package offered is around 42 LPA, and around 85% of our seniors are placed in their respective fields. Companies like Amazon, Wipro, Microsoft and many core companies have visited the campus to offer placements.

Placements, faculty and infrastructure are good.

Placements: Placements for CSE in VIT are good. I believe students from CSE branch have more opportunities to get placed in their dream companies. This college provides one of the best campus interview sessions before placements so that students get to aim for the biggest companies with confidence.

Over hyped college because of misguided college ranking.

Placements: The first thing you will hear is that VIT has 100% placements, but it's a twisted fact. Most of students are placed in IT companies. The placements we're conducted mainly at Vellore campus. The number of companies coming for core mechanical average but with comparison to the number of students it seemed very less. Companies package ranged from 2.4 LPA to 8lpa while the average salary ranged between 4 to 4.5lpa. Companies which visited the campus included some big names like Lam Research, Honda, ...

You will eventually get used to VIT with time.

Placements: Placements for the current batch are still going on, and the placements of seniors were good. The overall placement percentage was around 86%. The average salary package offered is 5.61 LPA, and the highest is 39 LPA. All sorts of IT and core companies visit the campus for placements, and the rest depends on the batch and how much can they make use of it.

Collage is best for those who can work hard themselves and is ready to spend around 20 lakhs.

Placements: Placements of our batch this year was average (better than last year).100% students were placed but most importantly this 100% is of no use.Once we join the college, our aim is not only to be placed but to get better package as well. This year highest package was 24lakh (round off figure) that was from CSE branch for Chennai Campus and lowest package was of 2.2 lakh.Approx all the companies come to the college but all they need is talent and hard working guys which is far more important. In the int...

A detailed review on VIT-Chennai.

Placements: The placements in our college are average for CSE, but poor for the other branches. You will be sitting with around 1900 students of Vellore and Chennai during the placements. Out of these 1900, around 100-150 get jobs with a package above 10LPA. Around 500-600 get a package of above 4 LPA, and the rest get recruited in mass recruiters. Don't join in our college if you have chosen the course under the category of 2, 3, 4, or 5. It is not worth your parent's hard work and money. Only category 1 i...

VIT Chennai- A place to learn, a chance to grow.

Placements: If you're looking forward to taking up a course in CSE or ECE, you can be sure of getting a job offer which might not be a lot but will definitely give you a start. However, for the other branches, placements occur rarely but the ones that come give out really good offers which will later give you the best options in your career. So, I would suggest you to choose your branch wisely. And if you're choosing any other branch, other than CSE or ECE, do it only if you're genuinely interested in it. T...

Incredible VIT with all the useful facilities available with world class knowledge.

Placements: I got placed in Ashok Leyland through campus placements. I also got selected for Hero Motors, Maruti and other companies, but I chose to join Ashok Leyland. I am enjoying my job and have been promoted to manager post. I am presently working in Chennai. I am doing my best to get the highest post.

Very good infrastructure and faculty but isn't worth the amount of money you are going to pay.

Placements: Placements, I think are about 95%. But most of the placements are from the bulk companies. It's hard to get a job in core companies unless you have CGPA above "8". Most of the people from Chennai campus rely more on competitive exams for further studies like GATE GRE etc.

I am satisfied from vit. They offer good placements and they have good infrastructure.

Placements: I got placement in two companies (Mahindra Comviva (Dream offer) and Cognizant (IT Mass Recruiter) so I joined Comviva because it gave good package. Placement is good in vit. More than 350 companies visit campus and those who deserve placement they get good package. At the end all of vitians has atleast 3-4 Lacs package.

The college can be rated 5 stars except for its management.

Placements: The placements in our college are very good for CS students. Their average package lies around Rs. 7-9 Lacs per annum for an average student. A decent package of Rs. 5-6 Lacs per annum is offered for EEE and ECE. But, the placements are not very good for mechanical and civil branches. Good companies do come, but not as many vacancies are there in the market as the number of students. So, even good students don't get core placements. Apart from this, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Accenture, and Wipro ...

Placements: The placements at VIT University are incredibly properly compared to different personal universities and engineering faculty members. The college supplied ample quantity of opportunities to get a complete-time task, internships, in addition to possibility to pursue better training in optimum schooling institutes in India and overseas. For my batch, (2016) round ninety five% of students were positioned in campus placement with the average revenue being 4 LPA. The lowest provide was of 3 LPA given...

Good place to learn but not good in rules.

Placements: The placements for EEE department is first rate. It is not too fancy nor too dull. Students are placed in a single or the opposite corporation, ranging from middle to mass. The majority take up the consultancy and mass as the core ones are hard to get into. The common package varies from area to area, suppose in case you input a consultancy business enterprise your pay can cross as much as 7-8 LPA in which mass recruiting corporations you're given simply given three-3. Most of the students get a median package deal of 4-5 LPA.
