Good engineering college for people who wish to learn practical application along with theory.

Infrastructure: The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good, along with various options to choose from. The medical facilities, sports, and game facilities are also well maintained and accessible to students. The facilities are well built, such as high-tech labs, smart classrooms, and libraries.

An insight from the inside of VIT.

Infrastructure: The labs are up to industry standards, and the Wi-Fi facilities inside the labs are top-notch. Some labs have old computers, while others have computers with up to 32 GB of RAM. Classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards. The library has the best environment for studying and focusing on daily goals. The hostel facilities are good. Each hostel block has two caterers, and students can choose their caterer each month. Both provide good food with enough nutrients. There are many food stalls here...

A journey of ups and downs of the college life of a student.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms are Wi-Fi-enabled and there are less number of modules in our courses. Also the lab is very useful as it helps to get practical exposure which is required for a particular company. Hostel is good and we are having separate beds and fans for each individual. But we all know the quality of food in the mess is not good. Overall, the sports and medical facilities are good.

Read this before getting into VIT.

Infrastructure: The academic blocks are great. Our classrooms are average with just a table and a projector. There is nothing else to make it more interactive. Our labs are great with all those facilities and supercomputers. It becomes easier to work there and interesting to learn in labs. The library functions till 12 AM. It has 7 floors and is filled with books. All necessary books can be found there. I am disappointed with the hostel. For the fee we pay, they give us a bed, a table, and a cupboard. The fee i...

VIT - A place to learn and grow.

Infrastructure: Our college provides all the necessary facilities. Every class has a projector, speakers, mic, and Wi-Fi access for all students in both the college as well as the hostel. Our college library is a great place if students are seeking a silent environment to study. It has a large amount of books from journals to fictional books. Our college also has every kind of lab needed, and it contains a variety of standard tools and machines to practice with. The infrastructure of the hostel is great but the...

Absolutely amazed by infrastructure and facilities.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the college are good, with good classrooms and various labs such as CAD Lab, IC Engines lab, Programming lab, physiometric lab, Robotics Lab, Calculus Lab, and so on. The college has an amazing three-floor library with a centralized AC system and easy book borrowing and submitting systems. In the hostel also, there are various facilities such as 24/7 water supply and drinking water. Even if you want hot or cold water, the water coolers are placed at every flo...

At present, okay with the college; have to see in the future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very decent. Hostel facilities are okay but can be improved according to the fee. The quality of food is good, medical facilities are well organized, and finally, sports and games are encouraged enough. Each and every kind of game is encouraged on the campus.

It is all false advertising.

Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure are outdated, and the new ones are yet to be completed. Many of the classrooms where we'll attend classes have no air conditioning, which in the Chennai weather is not bearable. The library is good, but it isn't sufficient for the number of students on this campus. The hostel Wi-Fi isn't good either; the maximum Wi-Fi speed I got was 5 Mbps, and they turn off the Wi-Fi at 12 AM even during exam hours.

It is best to join college.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available on campus are very good, like free Wi-Fi, lab facilities, big classrooms, and library access. The quality of the facilities in your hostel is very good. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games are all there.

Come only if you get 1st or 2nd category or go to normal colleges with learning good skills.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure and ac rooms, but hostel fees are high and there are no personal bathrooms. In the 1st year, it is very hectic and uncomfortable with roommates, but from the 2nd year, we can choose our own roommates. The library is very good. Food is good, but again, it is expensive. The rest all are good.

WHY VIT CHENNAI WHILE COMPARING FOR PLACEMENTS?!?!

Infrastructure: Not all the classes have AC as they are in old buildings, but the new classes have ac which are being built since the 2022 batch came into the college, and there's a regular expansion process going on for the students’ facilities... the Wi-Fi speed is not that great, and they only provide Wi-Fi from 6 a.m. to 12 a.m.

There is no difference in campus. All the campus follow the same system, Curriculum. Just the infrastructure differs, rest of the things are same.
