ISERC Shantiniketan is one of the best colleges for science. Faculty members are very good.

Placements: There is no such option of getting direct placements after passing out from ISERC. However, you can get placed on your own. Most of the students pursue PhD from different prestigious universities of India or foreign countries. They can join the field of research work or teaching field as a professor in colleges or universities. For further details, you can contact Viva Bharati admission cell.

Review of Visva Bharati University.

Placements: As it is a government college and an institute of national importance, it does not arrange any campusing. But career counselling sessions are arranged for the students. Most of the students here opt for higher studies and take research as the career option. The toppers here usually clear the competitive exams like JAM, JEST, easily. The research scholars who convey their research works and PhD from here usually get post-doctorate in foreign universities, and few join as an assistant professor in...

Absolutely satisfied because of the faculty, infrastructure. There were good placements in 2017.

Placements: After M.Sc, no companies have come for placements, but minimum 10 students in a batch clear the exam NET or GATE, which is not less than the placement. This year, 5 PhD scholars have got appointment letters from CSC. So, one can easily guess the success rate of VB.

Short story of statistics department, Visva Bharati University.

Placements: The college had very nice placement. After M.Sc and PhD, there are various opportunities for the students. There are various opportunities after B.Sc too. After B.Sc, many students from our department went for higher studies like IIT, ISI, and even went to foreign university which is really precious for our Viva Bharati and Statistics department. Per year, more than 3 out of 15 students got chance in IIT for M.Sc. and PhD. Not only that but also many students are studying in foreign countries.
