VIT Vellore BTech Courses & Fees 2024: Eligibility, Dates, Rankings, Placements, Admission Dates

Candidates should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for SC/ST/applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North-Eastern states) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying examination (Class 12 or equivalent) from a recognised board to apply for the BTech course. Apart from the qualification, candidates must fulfill the below-mentioned criteria:

• Applicant must be a resident/ non-resident Indian National/ PIO
• Candidates having Mathematics/ Physics/Chemistry in Class 12 only are eligible for all the BTech
• Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics/ Chemistry/ Biology and English for admission to BTech Biotechnology, CSE Bioinformatics and ECE Biomedical Engineering.

The authorities have not yet released the choice filling dates for VITEEE 2025 counselling process. Candidates will be able to access the VIT 2025 counselling choice filling link online at vit.ac.in. After registration, the candidates will have to fill out their choice of colleges and campuses in the order of preference on the dates that will be allotted to their obtained rank. Candidates are advised to check the counselling schedule carefully and fill out their choices only on their allotted dates. 

VITEEE cut off 2024 will be released soon for admission to the VIT Vellore BTech courses. However, the authorities will not release the VIT Vellore VITEEE 2024 cutoff online and will only be accessible to candidates who appeared for the entrance exam.

Yes, the placement cell of VIT Vellore support students in grabbing international internship opportunities. The students becomes eligible for placements and internship programmes in their fifth semester. As per the VIT official website, the placement centre place an average of 10 students every year in top MNCs. Some of the countries in which the students have grabbed internships are UAE, Germany, Italy, China, Taiwan, Japan, Ireland, etc.

Admission to VIT BTech course is based on VITEEE score, followed by a counselling round. Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology every year for admission to undergraduate engineering courses (BTech) of participating institutes. Every year, VITEEE is held to get students enrolled in various undergraduate courses. VIT also considers the eligibility of the aspirants for final admission. After completion of the selection rounds, the institute releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The authorities have released the VITEEE 2025 dates online at vit.ac.in. Candidates are advised to regularly check the VITEEE dates 2025 to be updated with the various examination and admission events. In case of any change or postponement of dates, the authorities will announce it online. Therefore, the candidates are advised to remain updated with the VIT 2025 schedule at the official website.

VIT Vellore campus life is almost the same as any other college in North India as per the various reviews of the college students online. • VIT (most probably) will call the first 20,000 rank holders of VITEEE for Phase-1 of counselling which will start from July onwards
• VIT university uses equating methodology to calculate candidate’s marks

• Those with less than 31 marks are expected to have a rank of 20,000 or below

Candidates will be able to access their VITEEE result online at vit.ac.in. To download the VITEEE result, the candidates will have to log in using their application number and password. The authorities will not use any other mode to release the VIT result. Important details such as the scores and ranks obtained in the entrance examination will be available behind the admission portal.

The authorities will not release the VITEEE 2025 cutoff online at vit.ac.in. However, if it is released, then the candidates will be able to access it here. VITEEE cutoff 2025 will be prepared to help in the counselling and allotment process. The authorities will consider various factors while preparing the VITEEE cutoff, such as the previous years' cutoff trend, difficulty level of exam, the number of applicants and more.
