Placements: In our course, almost 80% of the students get placement offers. The highest package is 20 lacs per annum, average package is 10 lakh per annum and lowest package is 400000 per annum. Our college is the best and the cheapest in the field of fisheries.

Placements: Nearly 85%–90% of students get placed. The highest salary is recorded at 45 lacs per annum and an average salary is about 10 lacs per annum. Companies like Godrej Agrovet, IBM, and Biostadt come to recruit students. During Masters, students get an INR 30,000 per year scholarship and internships are different. Roles like campus ambassador, etc. are offered.

Placements: As it is a professional course where you'll be a doctor, you'll not be unemployed. There are multiple job opportunities available like government job, private jobs, research, being a professor, practicing, etc. The majority of the students target government jobs as it is safe and secure where you'll be recruited as a veterinary officer. Our college is the best in the field of fisheries.

Placements: Our college provides a very good placement in the government fishery sector. There is also the opportunity to go into the private sector at various levels. Generally, about 60–70% of students got placed in various companies. About 20–30% of students got the chance to do higher studies in other states and other countries as well. It's our pride.

Placements: Veterinary science is a highly diversified field that provides 100% recruitment, including in the private and government sectors. There is no fixed package. Satisfied and feel proud to say I'm a student at the Faculty of Fisheries Sciences, WBUAFS.

Placements: Our course is basically fishery-related; this is the only college in West Bengal. Only 44 students get the chance every year in this course through counseling based on their 12th board exam. Once you get admission, after 4 years, several companies like Godrej, Agrovet and MPEDA come for student campusing. Placements: 1. 99% of students are placed in different sectors. Also, government posts like fishery extension officers can be done with this degree. 2. Placements: Nearly 100% of students get placed but college is not arranging that, you've to do it on your own Average salary for a fresher range from 25 to 30k per month. Companies like IFB Agro, Godrej Agrovet, Virbac, CP, Avanti, Growell etc. Internships are not provided by the companies, it's provided by the university and ICAR FEO, Feed Technician, Buisness offices etc.

Best college in West Bengal for fisheries.

Placements: After 10+2, you can join this college on the basis of your scores through an online application. After completion of the degree, you can easily get jobs, at least for INR 25k–30k in the beginning, and moreover, you can get a government job as an FEO in blocks. You can join the fish companies; every year, many of the students go for these jobs.

Fishery Faculty at a glance.

Placements: The percent of students that are getting placed are very minimal because most of them are willing to pursue higher studies. However one can easily find jobs in private agricultural companies by applying through mails. The jobs are mostly of sales and marketing of fish feed and medicine.

Absolutely a very good course; the campus can be improved; no issues with placement.

Placements: This is a professional course and you'll also be a doctor, so there is no option of being unemployed. Multiple career options are available after graduation. You can opt for a veterinary officer, which is a government job; you can opt for any private company that recruits veterinary doctors; or you can opt for practice. Also, you can go for higher studies and become a professor or scientist.

Our College is the Best in the Field of Fisheries.

Placements: Our college provides a good job-opportunity for the students either government or private jobs. Companies like godrej agrovet, IBM come to our college to recruit our students with a handsome package. Around 9i% students get placed just after doing the B.F.Sc. degree programme. Placements: In our college, after the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited the campus for recruitment and the government. This course is a professional course and B.F.Sc. has a very bright future.

Placements: I am a 2-year student, so I don't know about placements deeply. But when West Bengal Public Service Commission announces vacancies for Fisheries Extension Officer, everyone got placed in this government job. But these vacancies are held only once in 6 years. A private job is also available after completing B.F.Sc.

Placements: Almost 90% of the students from our course got placed. The lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. I do not know about the highest salary package offered to the students. It is a fully job-oriented course, and value for money and interesting course within hand training.

Placements: Our degree offers many private jobs. Our main priority is government jobs which is FEO i.e Fishery Extension Officer. Besides this many of our students get placements in and outside of the state, and as well as foreign. One of our ex-students gets a job in the Philippines. Benfish Hindusthan Unilever is one of the private sectors which recruit students. Besides this, students can also sit for WBCS Rail, Bank P.O, etc exams

It is a nice profession, and the placements are satisfactory.

Placements: The college placements are good enough. This year, the highest package offered is about 9 LPA. Many companies like Amul, Shalimar, etc., come for campusing. 50 to 60 students got internships from this course for a year duration, and after that, they got BVSC and AH degree.
