NIRF 2024 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2024 rankings, IIT Indore ranks #16 under the category 'Engineering'.

The GATE 2025 admit cards have been released for admission to the MTech course. Registered candidates can log in and download their admit cards from the official website. The GATE 2025 exam is to be held on Feb 1, Feb 2, Feb 15, and Feb 16, 2025.

The JEE Main 2025 Session 1 exam for IIT Indore admission to the BE/BTech course is over now. For the BArch and BPlan courses, the exam is held on Jan 30, 2025. Further, the session 2 registration starts on Jan 31, 2025.
The JEE Advanced 2025 exam date has been announced for the BTech course. As per the official website, the JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be conducted on May 18, 2025. Further, the application form will be released in Apr 2025.
The IIT JAM 2025 admit cards are now available for admission to the MSc course. Registered candidates can log in and download their hall tickets by visiting the official website. The IIT JAM 2025 exam is scheduled for Feb 2, 2025.

IIT Indore Highlights 2025

Indian Institute of Technology Indore, popularly known as IIT Indore or IITI, was established in 2009. IIT Indore was founded by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, and is an institute of national importance. Located in Simrol, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, IIT Indore is one of the eight new IITs initiated by the Government of India. IIT Indore (IITI) History

Some of the historical facts of IIT Indore are listed below:

Established in 2009, IIT Indore is one of the eight new IITs established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development under the Institutes of Technology Amendment Act, 2011.
The Act was passed in the Lok Sabha on 24 March 2011 and by the Rajya Sabha on 30 April 2012.
The HRD Minister of India of that period, Arjun Singh laid the foundation stone of IIT Indore on 17 February 2009 in its permanent campus located in Simrol, Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
IIT Indore worked from 2009 to 2010 in its temporary campus at the Institute of Engineering and Technology of Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya under the mentorship of IIT Bombay with Dr. Pradeep Mathur as the founding director.
The first batch of IIT Indore graduated in 2013, and the institute celebrated its first Convocation Day on 8 June 2013.
IITI moved from the two rented campuses to its permanent campus in Simrol in October 2015.
