Mystory@Kanhaiya Vyas: How I became an Accountant

1 min readUpdated on May 4, 2017 16:25 IST

My first job was with an Oil Distributing Agency where I worked as a Part Time Accountant. While pursuing my graduation, I not only attended classes but also joined a part time job to pursue my interests.

I secured admission at my college and used to go to college only for giving the exam. Along with college, I was working as an Account Assistant at a CA firm.

I am good in accounts and everyone knows that about me. My best memory of college life is when I obtained 77 marks in Accounts.  When I started work as an Accountant, I realised that it was only because of my college that I was able to receive all this knowledge and confidence.

My Career

My career started with an Oil Agency where I worked as a part time Accountant. It is the best career profile for me. After that I worked as an Account Assistant at an income tax practice and this helped me improve my knowledge in this sphere. Then I worked as an independent Accountant and started handling various types of accounts. After some time I joined a full-time job at a reputed organisation as a Store Officer and then worked as an accountant at a cotton broker and trader firm.
