Choosing GMRIT

I started my journey at GMRIT in 2021. Several key aspects made me choose GMRIT as my college. This college has a huge reputation and is in a lot of competition when it comes to getting seats for admission. The college has good infrastructure such as laboratories, which consist of highly efficient equipment, digital labs and Wi-Fi connectivity. This college also provides a gym and an outdoor ground.

My Passion for Technology

Since my schooling days, I used to play with electrical gadgets which inspired me to choose Electrical Engineering as my career option. I chose M.P.C. in Class 11 because I am good at maths, which helped me score better in AP EAMCET.

I am very passionate about electrical gadgets. Our college provided us with enough infrastructure, which helped us sharpen our skills. I'm blessed to have joined this college. This college has given me good practical and theoretical knowledge which helps me enhance my hands-on skills.

I entered this college through the AP EAMCET Entrance Exam. It’s a common entrance exam held by the government to get a seat in the Engineering Colleges

My College Experience

At GMRIT, we have spent our valuable time very precisely by attending our college regularly and gaining knowledge. We also enjoyed our college life by participating in various fests such as ‘Freshers’ and ‘Annual Days’. I also used to participate in various events such as ‘Step Cone’, ‘Webinars’ and ‘Group Discussions’.

Here, different branches have their own branch event called the ‘Flagship Event’. Our branch’s flagship event was the ‘Drone Voyage’. Our annual day celebrations have some different schedules and most of the events are related to entertainment such as singing, script writing and dancing. This college also provides merit scholarships to students who perform well in academics.

In the 5 semester, we have the term paper, where students have to present their ideas. In semester 6, we also have to do a mini-project based on our choice. I have also earned various certifications from Coursera, EDX, AICTE, etc. This was all about my experience of 3 years at GMRIT, where I had a great time and learned things I will never forget.
