How Gayatri Vidya Parishad Shaped My Journey from Setbacks to Success
Since my childhood, I've been good at mathematics and I always scored top marks in mathematics exams. After completing my 10th I got a 10 GPA out of 10 so, everyone tried to motivate me to choose CEC because they thought I could easily crack Civils. However, I have more interest towards mathematics which made me choose MPC in my intermediate. During my 11th I was very bad at chemistry and I felt it was very difficult. I didn't understand a single concept at that time. In Jee Mains, I scored 93 percentile. I scored 99 in maths, and 89 in physics but the worst part was chemistry in which I scored just 67 and that made my total very less. This made me very low. So then I decided to prepare chemistry well. Then I scored 125 marks in EAMCET and got a 2k rank in AP EAMCET. After getting results I searched for the best college in Andhra Pradesh for Computer Science and Engineering branch. Then I found Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering is the best among all. Then I applied for this college in counselling and I got admitted in the first round of Counselling. Then college admission department asked me to visit the college and submit all the required documents to complete the admission process. In this way, the admission process was completed. I like Computer Science because, it is a captivating field that requires problem-solving, creativity, and innovation. The thrill of overcoming complex challenges, and the opportunity to create something truly unique made me choose that branch. These are the main reasons why I was passionate about the course and branch. I was good at studying for my bachelor's degree also. I maintain my aggregate well. At the end of the bachelor’s degree, I have a 9.1 aggregate. To be honest my dream during my 12th was to get a seat in NIT Trichy but yeah due the unforeseen circumstances, I couldn't make it. I prepared well for JEE mains but it didn't end well. That's why I got a good rank in AP EAMCET. That setback in Jee Mains made me very strong and motivated.
I've pursued my bachelor's degree in Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (A). I'm a Computer Science student. Our college is the top most college in our state (Andhra Pradesh). Many people make Gayatri Vidya Parishad as their first choice after completing their 12th. Our college provides the best learning skills for every branch and they are especially good at CSE. They provide every requirement that a basic computer science student needs. Our college provides Wi-Fi throughout the college and any student can access it. All my life I have been curious towards computer science Technologies so I chose the computer science and engineering branch for my bachelor's degree. I started learning computer languages during the pandemic and I found that interesting. I found my interest towards this at that time. So I searched for the best college that offer computer science and engineering courses and then I found Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering as the best among all colleges in our state. This is where I started my first step towards my bachelor's. I would rate 3.5 for my college out of 5. But our college hostel is not that much as expected. Food is not good and non-veg is not allowed. The timings were reasonable.
College life has significantly impacted my overall growth by providing both personal and academic development. It provided an environment where I could explore diverse perspectives and I got to know many things because of this. The exposure to a broad category of subjects and the opportunity to interact with people from various backgrounds improved my cultural awareness and communication skills. It played an important role in my independence and responsibility required in managing academics, extracurricular activities, and social life. It also taught me valuable time management and problem-solving skills. College life has been a transformative experience that influenced my personal growth. Beyond academics, the social aspect of college life played a significant role in shaping my character. Living independently, away from the familiar comforts of home, taught me how to navigate life's challenges with resilience and adaptability. During my bachelor's degree, I was interested in coding classes I haven't missed even one class. I learnt Java, C, and Python. Apart from coding I loved to learn new technologies that made me interested towards Machine Learning.

I started learning ML in my second year. Machine learning was added as our subject in the 6th semester according to the curriculum. But I started learning it beforehand because of my interest in it. Apart from my studies, I got good friends who were as interested in cricket as me. Every day we played cricket in the evening. We didn't even miss a single day except it was rainy. This made me physically strong during my B.Tech. We enjoyed ourselves a lot for the first three years but the final year was totally different from the three. Because this was where the placements started. We started focusing on our careers to get a good job. But our bad luck was when were about to get placements the recession hit the software industry. We have very less companies. But yeah we were placed finally. I got a job in Capgemini which is an MNC. Finally, this was my story!
