IGNOU June TEE 2021 assignment submission deadline extended until April 30

However, the University has not extended the last date for re-registration. The re-registration for IGNOU January 2021 session will end as per its scheduled date, i.e. today, March 31.

IGNOU June TEE Submission Deadline Extended: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) extended the last date for submitting assignments for June Term-End Examination (TEE) once again. According to the official statement released by the Open University, the students can make the submission of assignments as per the new deadline, i.e. April 30. IGNOU made this clear that this extension will be for all programmes.

However, the University has not extended the last date for re-registration. The re-registration for IGNOU January 2021 session will end as per its scheduled date, i.e. today, March 31. Students who are yet to re-register can submit their re-registration forms by the end of the day at onlinerr.ignou.ac.in.

Recently, IGNOU also introduced a new Course-wise Registration Certification Scheme (CRCS). This newly launched CRCS allows students to register for a specific course without having to register for the entire programme. The institute said, “under this scheme, students will be allowed to register for a single course or a limited number of courses, subject to a maximum of 16 credits.” IGNOU further added, “Candidates will also be allowed to seek transfer of credits earned under the scheme by taking admission in any programme offered by the Open University.” Candidates interested in the CRCS scheme must note that they can register for the scheme at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. CRCS will be offered in both cycles of admission.

The latest development also reveals that IGNOU is all set to offer online programme for overseas learners. According to the reports, the courses on offer by the Open University include master’s, bachelor’s, diploma and certificate programmes. Students residing overseas interested in IGNOU Admissions 2021 can apply for the offered courses through the official website of the varsity, i.e. ignouforeigniop.samarth.edu.in.
